I am seriously considering running a Monday or Wedensday Night Pathfinder Game.
The game would use current Pathfinder rules. 3rd party support would be allowed, after discussing it with me.
The game would run during the evenings (EASTERN STD TIME) - and would be run via a combination of Skype (free) and Gametable (also free).
Before I give full commitment to the game, I want to gauge interest. Is anyone here interested in this? You'd need to have one of those nights free.
So?

Can you more closely define "evening"? This sounds fun, but your evening and mine might be two different things :-)
Sure thing.
Evenings would be 5:30 or 6 pm - 11 pm, midnight if we are in the mood.
I know that is kind of a blanket time, but as people chime in we can hammer that down a bit. Hope that helps.
Also, though it's mentioned in the title of this thread, I forgot to mention in the above post this will be a Rise of the Runelords campaign - PF, of course.

Ok more details tonight, as promised:
1. The game will be Rise of the Runelords, but updated to Pathfinder.
2. I will allow most Pathfinder content, including 3rd party support, just run it buy me.
3. The game will take place on WED NIGHTS @ 6 pm to 10:30 pm +. The + simply means if we're 'in the mood' we may agree to continue on further.
4. It will be a weekly game. So consider that before throwing your hat into the ring.
5. You will need to download Skype & Gametable, both of which are free.
6. Character Creation:
- 15 points
- Roll for wealth
- We will engage in some fleshing out of the characters during the first session
- A paragraph backstory would be cool.
I will post up a full fledge character creation sheet tomorrow at some time on my blog, then link here.

Alas, my P&P game is Wednesday nights, exactly at that same time.
Also, I'm about to have a daughter be born (like, tomorrow), so I'm going to have to miss out on this. Sadface. On the upside: poo diapers.

No problem. And congrats on the kid -- I'm an expecting father (November) too.

I am really wanting to try something like this, but in full disclosure I have DM'd the first issue of that AP. However, I am fully capable of hanging back on decisionmaking, or even acting against my own interest for the sake of fun, (just ask my misspent youth) until we're past the material I'm familiar with. Wednesday works for me as well, if that isn't a problem.

I imagine most of us are a bit familiar with RotRL as is -- shouldn't be a problem, as I'm sure you can seperate player knowledge.
Also, I've got a few twists prepared.

A few questions:
Do we get talents? There aren't campaign ones for RoTR, but we could choose from the standard ones.
Do you mind if I use the "Spell-less Ranger" from Kobold Quarterly?
And, speaking of rangers, what would you recommend for a choice of favoured enemy?

First Question - Yes. You can, and everyone else can check the campaign guide here. (Blog is a little rough, just started that one today).
Second Question: I actually prefer the spell-less ranger from KQ.
Third: Goblins, maybe giants are the best bet.

This goes for all interested players now:
Check the link and click on the campaign guide.
See if this is the game for you.
If so, and Wedensday nights 6 pm -10:30 (Eastern Time) work for you, think up a character and post it in the comments of that page. Then go download Skype and Gametable.
Please note that the character creation guide included in that link has a couple of changes from the norm too. Once I have five players who feel committed to playing, we will settle on a start day. I'm hoping for the 14th -- this upcoming Wed.

I am putting my hat in, I did already but I'm still here. Wednesday nights are fine, though I don't get back from work until 5 pm PST. I would still like to be involved, but it starts at 3pm here.
If the above is acceptable, I will make a character. I have the campaign guide and actual campaign, read all but the last chapter, I found it quite interesting and took many ideas for my games.
One thing I do NOT do is metagame; I was stating I enjoyed the campaign much, so playing it would be fun.

My big concern is that you'd be unable to game our time until 8 -- I'd rather have the full group going from 6ish on. Hope you understand -- It is just more consistent.
-- Again for those interested in a Wed. real time, online game, check here.

Ok. Here is the skinny. The Witch is human. Shoanti style.
So the group is now
Dwarf Ranger
Gnome Bard
Human (Shoanti) Witch--- I'd like two more players, ideally, but can run with one more, no problemo.
This might very well be all you get. Non-PbP online games aren't too popular on these boards. Maybe you can pick up someone on another board, or else most APs are perfectly playable with 3 players, especially with the class mix we've got.

I might be interested; perhaps I could play a divine caster-type (I'm thinking druid). Question: is Skype/GameTable easy to use, and does the game take place at a specific site?
Skype and Gametable are super easy to use. And free!
Check out here
For more info, and let me know if you are interested. I'd like to start this week.
