Oh cruel irony. I must have flagged a quarter of the posts on that page.
And I missed the fireworks.
Jeremy, you were fine. Bugley was too for the most part. There were only a few that people that were out of line.
Of course the irony is that we basically showed GeminiG that he was right. :-(

No, but the right mix and concentration of acid can reduce bones and all to soup in minutes. Some of the huge mine processing pools heated and spiked with peroxide are insanely caustic.

I would have to second Sebastian's undieing hatred for this movie. I would rank it near my top ten all time worst movies.
The Happening
Highlander 2
Epic Movie
Battlefield Earth
Batman and Robin
Fifth Element
Dungeons and Dragons the movie
Dick Tracy
Howard the Duck
Kazaam
I thought I knew you CJ!
And then you went and put that great movie, The Fifth Element, with all that other dross.

Unfortunately, sometimes you find yourself somewhere without a baby change room, parents room or even a bathroom anywhere nearby. And sometimes when there is a bathroom it is so gross that a decent human bieng would not bring a child in there. Sometimes it is a case of changing the child right there and then or there will end up being a mess all over the store.
But still, for the gods' sake, take the dirty diaper with you.

I couldn't figure out a good place to put a question, so I thought I'd ask my FAWTLY family first.
What ideas can you give me where I can use angels (or other very "good" outsiders) as a major antagonist with an all good party?
An angel (or its deity boss) has foreseen that a particular mortal will be responsible for starting a devastating war, or destroying something important like say the world, and heads out to kill them before they can commit their crime. Only problem is the person is currently an innocent kid (and this may or may not be a case of mistaken identity).
An LG god sends a host of angels to wipe an evil / sinful city off the map. The PCs are currently in the city on their own mission and get caught up in it all. The gung-ho angels don’t take the time to distinguish between residents and visitors (and perhaps there is some sort of evil aura around that masks the PCs alignments). If the group does manage to escape, some angel might make it their mission to track down and destroy the ones who got away.
An angel is guarding some important site or item, none is allowed to pass, no exceptions by order of the Boss. But the PCs mission requires them to go there, get the thing whatever for some other reason.

with arcane thesis you cut the level down by one when adding metamagic too. I took silent spell so I could go invisible and cast spells all over.

I bought two pairs of *pre-owned* Army-issue combat boots (with kevlar toes and shanks, waterproof leather, and aluminum-reinforced soles) about five years ago for $20.00 each. Other than a pair of running shoes, I own no others. Gotta love Army surplus stores.

I love combat boots, and can usually buy a pair and run them into the ground after 2 years of use. For welding The chair of the program, who is also my instructor prefers steel toe shoes. Plus the good news about those boots is that they are resoleable, so if the tread wears out, just send them in to fixed.
Start saving up some money Shiny if you want to get into welding.

My Council of Thieves game has completely imploded. One of the players after an in-character, 10-line spat with another character, has taken her character completely off the deep end and seems to be confusing her character with herself and other players with their characters. I am quite worried about her.

Hmm. Well, I had a fun character: wizard / crusader / jade phoenix mage. I know she's still a caster, but I just took things like shield and mirror image, and she wielded a glaive (I wanted her to be Japanese so I called it a naginata) and I took stand still and combat reflexes and improved unarmed strike and superior unarmed strike and a monk's belt and pretty much just turned her into a magically enhanced fighter.
She actually got most of her damage with AOOs and the DM began to call her "The Cuisinart".

Take care of your feet and they will take care of you!
I spent ~$200 on a pair of Redwings and I was working a job where I was walking close to 10 miles a day six days a week for about two years. They were great boots and they lasted for almost the whole job. I think it was money well spent, but it annoys me that Redwings are made in China now.
EDIT: Naked work boots for ToP? No one deserves that mental image of me! ;)
