Never had to deal with raccoons, but don't even let me get started on squirrels. They caused massive destruction both to the house, the ductwork, and detroyed a few family heirlooms that were stored in plastic bins they somehow chewed their way into. I hate squirrels more than I can say. Stupid tree rats.Raccoons took out one of my best friend's cable out in Iowa. I laughed my ass off until I visited her once and saw the damage they did to her stairs when they decided to move in for the winter. Apparently they are disgusting little creatures.
That's unfortunate. I love squirrels to pieces, they are one of the few pieces of natural wildlife left in brooklyn. However, they are quite respectful of the boundary between their world and ours(at least in my experience), and so I have had very few run-ins with them unless they are rabid.
lol. Too many people feed the squirrels in A2, so the little buggers have lost all fear of humans. Not to mention all ability to take care of themselves. So it's pretty common for them to build nests inside houses and otherwise make total pests of themselves.

Well, perhaps that is my problem. I don't have Boomerang as one of my cable TV options. I was thinking 'PC' as in exposing the youngins to cartoon violence. I remember quite a few discussions about the high level of fantasy violence in them being liable to forment use of anvils and dynamite in RL *sigh*. Perhaps it is just that the rights to the cartoons have been bought up by this channel, kinda like the old sitcoms are all on that other one now, whose name escapes me.What are you talking about? I watch those shows all the time! Check out Boomerang- it's where all the old cartoons went. The only "PC" thing I've noticed is the removal of disgusting stereotypes in many of the cartoons- but if you are a completionist, you can indeed get those on DVD. I just watched some good old fashioned Coyote and Roadrunner a few days ago. That show got me interested in physics, although I have to say that I was horribly disappointed when the reality did not match the fantasy, particularly where the teachers were involved.

You are thinking Time-Warner. Owners of DC comics, 1/2 the cable channels out there. Not to mention Time magazine and WB. The other big one is ABC/Disney.
Wow. People would rather have Cox or TimeWarner then Comcast? Not based on my experience, I wouldn't. I remember Comcast and think of them fondly. Oh the happy days we had back in NJ and NY! And then I had them briefly when I moved back to TX, before TimeWarner came reaving through the area with their watchwords of "Less for More!"

He is actually happy. He was so miserable there. He will have a job soon. And he will apply for unemployment, the place is such a hostile work environment that it gives a red flag in the system. He should have no problems. We really are celebrating.
