I thought it was, but then the midwife told me I had to put my clothes back on or leave the room. :/

No one MAKES him squeal. He does that on his own. ;)

Her Most Desperate Hour: Carrie Fisher Discusses ‘The Star Wars Holiday Special’
By LISA TOZZI

As you may recall, whenever we here at ArtsBeat talk about “The Star Wars Holiday Special” we get all tingly in our midi-chlorians. Not surprisingly, George Lucas and the rest of the cast of “Star Wars” would prefer to toss the special into the Sarlacc Pit. Or to the Rancor monster. Or into the Death Star’s reactor shaft. You get the picture.

But at a TimesTalk event Sunday night, Carrie Fisher, who can be seen on Broadway in her one-woman show, “Wishful Drinking,” until Jan. 17, told our own David Carr that she owns one of the few copies of the special that Mr. Lucas has allowed out of his possession. “I did the voiceover for some of the Star Wars discs or whatever and I made it a condition that he would give me the Star Wars Christmas special so that I could, you know, have something for parties … when I wanted everyone to leave.

whenever I hear something about "the Kardashians" I think of these guys.

Not enough pop culture, too much sci fi? Or am I better off this way?

Sovereign Court

Hmph. Well, I've never watched one, and I'm going to watch this one. It starts at 12:30 central time, which is reasonable to at least see the full eclipse.

Liberty's Edge Contributor

Okay...so I just did a search on Google to start reading about what to tell my Sailors about today's Senate vote. I'm not sure how to interpret the results that Google returned.

I had to take a screen shot.

By the by, in the birthing class today, I got to use "it rubs the lotion on its skin". Dude next to me started cracking up. Later he returned the favor with "stay on target" during talks about coaches encouraging the mother during labor.

Hey, Mairk - I took a wine tip from you. We went out to dinner for my partner's mother's birthday, and I was looking at the wines, and they had an unoaked chardonnay, and I thought, "Leafy said that's good." It was!

Also, I had a crab legs, and they offered to take them out of the shells for me. This is truly a monumental development in culinary culture.

Who was it? Ross or Gary? One of you gave Justin Franklin and I our souls back. They closed the smurfing loophole! I don't know if I should be saddened, or glad that I have a soul again.

Paizo is practicing the art of giving this Christmas Season...giving souls back to people.

That makes me think, my campaign occurring in the echoes of the elder spirit vs great souls war is still a roaring success.

Of course, that might have had something to do with the cheddar jalapeno wraps, too. :P

Never joke about Star Wars, every time you do Justin Bieber sings another song.
