Squirt bottles tend to work with my herd. Except with my late, lamented Fishercat, who (true to his name) loved water.

Yeah, I try to talk to both at least once a week each. Especially my dad these days. He really like it when I call just to shoot the s~*#.

We haven't tries water bottles, but the kitten (Blix) loves water. He actually sits on the side of the tub, on the shower side of the curtain, while you shower. :P

Wish she had meant it to be funny. That was the opening salvo of a very nasty verbal attack. She actually tried to defend her POV.

Fisher used to do that. Along with taking up residence on the edge of the tub and trying to drink the water anytime I took a bath. Unfortunately, he was also a very clumsy cat, which made for some... eventful bathtimes.

Yeah, my mom and I chat it up, normally about nothing at all. My dad isn't a phone person, I usually toss in the 'tell daddy I said hi and I love 'em', and I get back the 'he says hi and you too'. :)

He is cool. Still calls baby Charlie Ironman. As for Isabel - she's awesome.

Hehehe! Yeah, Blix is still a kitten, so he is clumsy. He has fallen quite a few times. He likes for me to dribble water on the edge so he can drink and not fall.

Blix has the markings of a Maine Coon, except he is orange...I got him off Craigslist so I am unsure as to his heritage.

That what my brothers and I used to think about my dad, then we learned it really bothered him that we didn't talk to him more. Now I make up for that. And it rocks. I had forgotten how much my dad and I have in common, or how much I can still learn from him.

We have a cat that does that as well. She insists on getting soaked.

Damn it! Now I'm hungry again.
We just finished, so I am still full. As much as I would have enjoyed stuffing myself, I have discovered recently that stuffing myself to the gills upsets my ulcer, things are not pretty after that. But hey...might lose some weight exerting control over portions. :)

Hello Lindisity <Hannibel Lecter>
Welcome to Fawtl, feel free to kick your shoes off and enjoy the festivites. We do have certain rules in our little corner of the boards though, No Politics, No Religion, And we do flirt and play, sometimes crudely, We take no offense here.
Care to throw your hat in with us? :)
EDIT: And the Lady Solnes would like to remind everyone that she has temporarily resended our Football ban, unless you're a Steelers fan. ;)
Maybe Leafy can verify this. I heard that the DFW was ramping up the police presence to crack down on the illicit flesh trade that ramps up during the Super Bowl. The first thing I thought to myself, ah, Roethlisberger's coming to town.

No idea what I'm getting for dinner, but it's gonna have to be hot. Needs somethin to warm mah belly.
Leftover Beef Curry! :d
I am cooking spicy oyster crackers and 16 bean cajun soup with spicy sausage for tomorrow's game night. I'm going to try some corn bread that doesn't fail too. We'll see.
Oh, and I made rice crispie treats.

I think I'm taking lasagna to game night this weekend. It'll be a nice change from takeout. (I'd cook every time, but the hosts start feeling guilty if I do it too often.)
