No problem. I figured you were asking out of curiosity. That's why I wanted to be absolutely clear on what I was saying because I didn't want you to think I was under the false impression when I mentioned what I did. I have been incredibly misunderstood today already through no other fault but my own. So I wanted you to know I get what you are asking and where the number you floated was coming from.

Reminds my of -- my wife got something in the mail or package or whatever that said "type in this code for your virtual prize". My wife was like "I don't want a virtual prize -- I want a real one."

I'm eternally thankful for the experience I've had. One of my best friends who we gamed with all the time "came out" well after we were friends. He had a steady girlfriend for many years. I had no idea he was gay. When he let us know, it was kind of weird for me for a little while. At one point he was talking about which guys were atractive and I was feeling a little awkward and blurted out "well do you think I'm atractive?" To which he said "no" -- and I wasn't sure if I should have been insulted or thankful. But him and his SO have been very good friends of our family's for many years now and the two of them have a very good relationship. It's pretty easy for me to talk to them about homosexuality -- but they know me pretty well.
And they're really not "feminine" at all either -- so I understand what Jeremy was talking about in the other thead. (Although one of them is an art professor -- which I guess is a stereotype as well.)

That is so sweet. Thank you Sara!
And sorry for taking the reference off my facebook page - I'm pretty deep in the gamer closet.
No worries, I think that is the second time you've had to remove a gaming post I put there... one of these times I'll learn!

Nothing so exciting - simply a mini-lightning storm and Shrinky Dink combo.

I am ok. I picked the public posting on Flickr, but apparently it doesn't work for Grouchy Old Farts. I wanted to post the change I made to hair length but it wouldn't work. So I am moving on. Thanks to those of you that commented on my giving the hair to Locks Of Love. it is on the way there as I post this. I hope it gives someone some self respect.
'Like'
I wanted to do this a few years ago, but my employers wouldn't cooperate. Bastards.

Am I alone?
I am having a very hard time dealing with the summoner in my Kingmaker campaign. Part of this was errors in how he was being played that we have since corrected, part of this is a smart player well min maxed. Part of this is the nature of enemies they've faced - dumb beasts or those unfamiliar with them would be unaware of the fact that it's critical to attack the summoner and not the eidolon. Now that they are a year into ruling their kingdom, they will be facing more intelligent opponents that are aware of their abilities.
Another part of the problem is I have seven PCs, four of whom have pets and all but one of whom have spellcasting abilities.
...
Yeah, I need to rewrite a lot to make things even mildly interesting for them.
You do a pretty fine job of it Jess. I'm honestly a bit concerned with how we will deal with our current problem, given the information we recently acquired from the 'recently dead' troll.

Well,I wouldn't want you to be bored.
It's too bad women can't GM, or you'd all be having more fun!

Funny you should say that. To kill time, I play KoL and I'm currently a Turtle Tamer.

You sleep? But you have kids. I didn't think that was allowed until the youngest turns 18.
