I have trained my coworkers to not call me on my cell phone by alternately not answering or by answering in a harried tone of voice and only answering them in the most arcane and difficult to understand manner possible. only my boss calls me now.

Heh. Oddly, I'm not even talking about my cell phone. This is one that only works on the ship. It's a small phone, but the functionality is like carrying your desk phone around with you all day.

I am so far behind on things it is absurd. As it stands I have the publishing work (which takes up a great deal of time), the map for CJ, and another graphic design project that is in the works.
I am still interested in doing yours as well. I am hoping CJ's map will get some work done on it after my Gazetteer goes to the editor and before work on Aerendal, City-State of the Viridian Prince goes into high gear. Though I do owe some people some feedback on other material and I need to get my writer's guideline done for the city-state project. I am also contemplating what my Campaign Cogs line is going to look like exactly. This is all very exhilarating but also very daunting. :)
Obviously, I don't think you two are hounding me or anything. CJ has been incredibly patient with me. But I do want you to know it is on my mind.

Oh yeah, I also need to finish my marketing release advertising the advent of the company and future releases. That is foremost on my list.

damn you ~dragon~ the closest Popeye's is about 40 minutes away, that and I am on a diet. So double problem for me. I loves me some Popeye's and their dirty rice.
Also it is so gorram frakking cold here. Only 0 with a windchill of -11. Supposed to get to -11 with a windchill of about -16 at best.
So it's warm there. We are due to get to -12 tonight with a -25 to -30 wind chill. ;)

to tell the truth we are now 0 (-12) so if I guess right it might end at -12(-24) so yes it is balmy here. whats this I hear about pond hockey this weekend in MN? Saw something about it on The Weather Channel.
oh and a rant from me my two test pieces for welding today ended up badly. my 16ga lap joint with filler just looked ugly. Without filler not so bad but had one inclusion bubble, a little section of the top piece was bitten off, and I started the weld a little hot. Good news is that neither one had significant undercut showing if any at all. Well that and we were told that to get a high C in the class was pretty hard to achieve in oxy-acetylene. Start on "T"s tomorrow with brazing and cutting still to go.

Hi Mairkurion, how have you been? WHERE have you been?
Hey, Mothman! Here's the lowdown:
1. I got real busy with the end of the semester/onset of the holidays.
2. Went to FL to be with family, Uncle Walt, and Harry Potter for Xmas.
3. Got a hellacious UP infection from a family member. I started coming down with it on the 18 hour drive back to TX. Even though I was one of the last people to succumb, I got much sicker with it than anyone else did. Weird, huh? Spent over two weeks mostly in bed. Only started really feeling like myself again a few days ago, which was just in time for
4. Oh my God! Turn in syllabi! It's time for the new semester! All hands on deck! How have you been?
I'm good. Back at work after 6 weeks 'paternity leave' and Christmas holidays, not too bad so far.

Since then they are called tigers. Eight legged tigers, but tigers none the less.

In fact, I think you'd probably have to drink quite a lot of it before you got sick from it.

Monday's episode of One life to live, my wifes soap opera, had an interesting book on the books shelf. Naked Heat by one Richard Castle. They even featured Nathan Fillions face on the jacket cover and the character took one look at him and said hey he looks familiar. Seems he played a character on the show at one time.
You mean this Nathan Fillion?

The cafeteria has been serving these low fat specials, so I thought I would try one. Buffalo chicken breasts with mashed potatoes and a side salad (and I got a cookie - okay that ruins the low fat part). Anyway, my chicken wasn't cooked. I took a couple of bites from the thinner end, and then got to a not so good looking part, so I cut further in and it wasn't done. I'm done with that cafeteria food. I took it back and got a refund, because I didn't want any of their nasty food. Now I don't know what I am going to eat. I kept the side salad and the cookie, and I have some crackers, so I guess that will be my lunch.

How's that going for you? I ask because I'm thinking about going into the trades after I get my degree (or go irreparably insane in the process), and have been considering welding.
