I used to feel the same way FH, but kinda had one of those "Grinch" moments.... you know where the heart grows a whole 2 sizes.... now it's a size 1.lol. Yeah, what he said. Trust me, when it's your kid's prized possession that lets them sleep at night....you just do what you have to. Heck, sometimes when it's just stuff. Throw up sounds worse than it is. The worst is when they discover the joy of poop painting. (Just about every baby does this at some point.) The crib, the bedding, the walls. Although I think for my own sanity those pajamas were done at that point. It was bad enough washing the ick out of his hair.

Not great, but in that small of quantity it won't hurt you. In fact, I think you'd probably have to drink quite a lot of it before you got sick from it.

Well, after meeting through a messageboard and developing a years-long online friendship, Ben and Brandon met in real life only to discover that they were actually twin brothers separated at birth. You just break out the soap and bucket, some things just can't be thrown away. Now I have no problem with tossing a pair of undies or what not, but I can't toss, say Riley's "Night-Night" without destroying the universe in his eyes.Not looking forward to doing this. How do you handle it/clean it up? Mops and buckets or do you just keep sawdust on hand? ANd how do you handle the...ah...excrement? My oldest son got sick last night and emptied his Heward's Haversack worth of stomach contents on the middle of the floor. Which left me with a wide range of emotions late at night...
We have a small wet vac. It helps, but in this case, we'll be calling in professional cleaners once the danger of it happening again is well off. There have been a few clothes that we've decided that it wasn't worth it to keep. The simplest is fill up the bath tub with soapy water and do everything there. It's contained, large amounts of water make it easier to clean than a lot of wipes, you can rinse the clothes there too if you wish to clean and keep them, and cleaning the tub is a lot easier than the carpet or the changing table or the bed or ...
Just burn the house down and start over, that's what I always did.
