Japanese noodles, typically prepared as a soup.

*sigh* I don't mind if the neighbors play loud music. Really. I don't. We've got thick walls and it has to be really loud before I even notice it at all. And even then it's usually just a slight vibration in the floor. But music so loud that it makes my windows rattle? Really? It's not even a weekend.

I am so tired of all the christmas stuff going up so damn early. I think there should be a law preventing christmas stuff from being displayed until after Remembrance Day.

Otherwise having a good day. In a fit of decadence we had poptarts for breakfast today instead of the usual cereal bars. :)
And udon does sound good. Debating the merits of making a quick trip to tsai grocery on the way back from picking up kid from school. I know he wouldn't complain about impromptu change of dinner plans if it means we get to have miso soup with udon. :)

Canadian equivalent to Memorial Day. Happens Nov 11th here.

Ah see I want it to wait until after American Thanksgiving. Nov 25 this year. I could deal if it was mid November but lately it has been early to mid October which is really very silly if you think about it.

Interestingly we do have a holiday that day, but it's Veterans Day for us.

Most we usually do that day is go down to the Cenotaph for 10 am wear our poppies, listen to sad bagpipes, listen to a city official give a speech and have 2 minutes silence. Last year I went I noticed I was the only one my age there grrrrrrrr kids have no respect these days.

I don't know why people are so surprised to find out I like things. It's not like I'm a big bitter ball of hatred or anything like that.

Really? I've seen "necropoli" in numerous RPG products, and was just basing it off of what I'd seen. What's the correct plural?

My old boss at the TV station used to be addicted to that one. He'd spend half his day there, and the other half on the DDO Stormreach forums.

Sorry for being so absent lately. Did I miss anything important?

I do have a good reason for being gone. At least I think it is a good reason. :) Let's just say I have been very busy.

It really is necropolises. I checked in a couple dictionaries to make sure because I was curious. That said, depending on what it's for, you might be able to get away with it as artistic license :)

Oh, it's going to be at least a year or two--I don't exactly have my s*!# together financially. I just find it unusual that I'm even considering it.

FFFUUUUUU sound problems. And I'm not going to be in the booth for another six hours. If the gremlins are getting an early start with my recording software, I shudder to think of what they'll do when they get their icky little paws on the broadcasting equipment.

I swear, I've got the same problem as Newton Pulsifer--I touch electronics, and they die. Remember this thread? It's still true.

It's all good man. Sometimes in life we just find the perfect person for us ... if we're lucky. If that's the case, don't let her go. But still don't rush into marriage if you're not totally certain.
