Sweet....

Not. That is full of fail.

Hopefully the other kid deserved it.

And did you teach him to go for the eyes while screaming maniacally???

Did the other kid deserve it? IMO yes.

And no, I teach my kids to go for the groin. Like my daddy, God rest his soul, taught me "If a fight last longer than 30 seconds, you lost."
If I can be nosey, what is the scoop?

There is a kid in his class that is way bigger than everyone else, this kid takes joy in cutting in front of Kellen in line, today he kicked Kellen to get him to move. Kellen turned around a shoved the kid. I see no problem with how my son reacted, but I did tell him the obligatory "You should tell the teacher" stuff.

And it isn't nosey Leafette, you're Fawtl family.

Done. Although I used the "sexual/racist" flag to better get his attention.

AWRIGHT folks...after a bit of a harrowing day, it's time for this FHDM to get home to his DVRed shows and enjoy a hot shower. I'm also thinking I have to write the adventure for the Darklight Sisterhood game that, in all probability, will occur this weekend. I'm sure table madness will occur.

Until the morrow, folks....

Sorry to hear that, man. I'm glad you have him the standard lecture, and aren't making his life hell over a rational decision.

<shudder> I had that lesson drilled into my head on a daily basis growing up. Seriously, my dad insisted on giving me lessons on how to fight. More specifically how to fight so the other guy never gets a chance to throw a punch. Something about if you're going to get into fights with the boys at school you're at least gonna learn how to do it right. :/

My sisters, bless them, can't throw a punch, change a tire, or swing a hammer, but for some reason dad thought it was vitally important that I learn all of these things. Parents are weird. :)

Experience Runes? What are those?

(Yes, I know they're Exploding, years of NE/SNES-era console RPGs have taught me exp means experience.)

::Gives Lynora a shawl:: My dad gave my sister and me the same lesson.

Oops. One place showed one time, but the official invite shows a different time.

Remember, this is Mairk-centric, so the time is in his time zone.

Meaning, T-minus 56 minutes.

Okay, enough whining. Back to the salt mines...er, chemistry homework.

Don't take it personally. I've got Ross a little busy at the moment fetching me pineapples with little umbrellas in them.

My dad was a high school principal. He taught me to always throw the first punch, because the teacher sees the second.

But it's OK if the pineapple gets wet!

Oh, I see what you're doing...

So...My trip to Sand Diego is a go, unfortunately. I'll be leaving on or about 24 October, and will be there for about 3 weeks. Now I have to get an absentee ballot for the upcoming elections - which is a pain in the ass. And, I don't get to participate in my groups weekend getaway gaming session, where they finally plan to finish our Age of Worms Campaign. And, I may even miss out on another gaming session that'll occur near the end of my trip. AND, Veteran's Day was the wife and I's last best hope for a trip home so that family folk could give a baby shower.

F+*~ nuts!

Nice! My dad used to say, "I don't care who starts it, you damn well better finish it."

No really, the only time I got in trouble for fighting was when I lost. :/

My father was about as pacifist as possible. I know that I got into two fights growing up. I'm not going to say that I won -- but after each fight, the offender left me alone.

In karate class another kid got pissed off about something and kicked my son in the leg -- not a good thing to do in karate class. My son stopped what he was doing, casually went over to the Sensei and quietly told him what had happened and basically told him that it wasn't his (the other boy's) fault -- just that he was having a bad day and needed a release. My son was 8. It was really odd -- especially coming from my overly-sensitive, SPD child.

Dancers upstairs are playing "the real Shady" upstairs. His voice is even more annoying with a bunch of rhythmic stomps going back and forth on the ceiling.
