Honestly I appreciate what you tried.
So I just made a huge post with lots of questions. Maybe if you answer them one per post it may put it on track. Thats if you want too :P

I have answered each one in a single post each at the best of my ability.

OK I am back, but don't expecft me to read the last 30 bajillion Posts since I was gone or I think my head might just explode (of course that's not gonna stop me attempting to skim before I just can't take it anymore and curl up into the fetal position on the floor and weep...).

Skiing was good. Got straight back into it after 6 years with no dramas which was good and even being a lot less fit than I was back then didn't affect me much. Best part about it was that Caitlin (4) went perfectly for her first time skiing and went up 4 grades in 4 days! So I took her out, just us, on the last day and I was so proud at how well she did. :D

No Internets was very painful though, so even though I'm back I may still not be too talkative since I have to catch up on a huge amount of crap (FAWTL, PbPs, FB, e-mails, etc...). Oh and I also have to spend the next 2 days re-formatting my computer and getting it back up to scratch, so that's gonna put me out of the loop again as well.

Welcome back Flash.

I am back too. Despite being disgusted by the rampant trollery evidenced in this once enjoyable subforum, I do miss chatting with you folks. I'll just need to keep rolling my Will saves.

So happy Sunday everyone, hope it is going good for you.

She's with her sister all day for her sister's b-day/baby shower. I don't have to go to either so I'm working on my DND quest.

Morning, all! What did I miss?

It's kind of surreal to be back in my apartment. There was an odd experience of going into my bathroom, though... I've never thought much of the bathroom in my apartment - it's small and relatively dated - but compared to the nicest bathrooms we saw in Italy, it almost looked like a palace. We both said to ourselves "This is ours?!" It's funny what a little perspective can do.

The flights were uneventful. 9 hour flights are always a little painful, but there were no real issues with anything. And we're still happy about our $800 score for switching flights!

Well, Scott and Sarah enjoyed some of the concert last night, before being forced to flee due to an attack by a horde of feral cats. Meanwhile, CJ and Jeremy's attempt at a polite conversation kept being interrupted by some young punk wanting to talk about his toe cheese. Across town, despite his best efforts, Patrick was drawn back into the seedy underworld by....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Spoiler:
Sorry about the toe cheese. It was the first thing I could think of.

Although the part about having to leave the concert early was true, just not because of a feral cat attack. Still, we got to see Tom Petty play for about half an hour.

Sure. What are they sacrificing the slaves? Or just using some for slaves and some for offerings? Are the bandits in it for the cash or are they True Believers?

Bandits are in it for the cash and the promise of not being slaves/offerings.

Spoiler:
I'm starting a game placed in my universe where an evil cabal of clerics are trying to bring Cthulhu into that universe. The players, not knowing this, kinda stumble onto the plot from there after helping a town with their bandit problem. The "sacrifices" are more expermentation for the Gawds from the Cthulhu Universe can't appear in the Main Universe with out being in a mortal vessel until they attune with the universe. The evil cabal is trying to find a suitable vessel or 4.

I just had a creepy idea that the Clerics have a side business with candle and book making. Maybe even nice chairs with hair used for the backing and seats.
