Here's my character...all but hit points (which I will do after the storm that is coming).

1st: 9
2nd: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
3rd: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
4th: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
5th: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Total=29

I'M DEAD


The minimum dice make the two 2's 3's, so you'll have 31 hp.

Seen as you not totally familiar with PF did you add favored class hp? That would bring you up to 36.

That is roughly the average health for a level 5 d8 HD character with +1 Con bonus.

Could you display your ability scores somewhere on the page aswell.

Finally bracers of armor don't stack with your mithral armor, but you can make that mithral shirt a +1 armor for the same price and actually benefit from it.

Everything else looks great!

Other than another trait..I have the guy speced out in excel...just need to transcribe him to here, should be able to do it later today/tonight.

I wasn't able to see your house rules, but not so worried, just thought I'd let you know.

As long as your aware of the change to base saves I described above nothinn else should affect a wizard.

Looking forward to seeign Percival in full.


That'll put us at 4/6 with nightflier and Kiron finishing up on Tuesday. I'm going to start that night, straight into the action.

Just a heads up, if you need to make saves in battle I'll usually make them, just to speed things up so we don't have to wait for you to post your save, every post should simply be your action.

No problem, but just to let you all know...Tuesday night RPG night, the one with the real tabletop, so last posts Tuesday tend to be before 7pm UK time...Currently in a little Exalted game..


Nice, one of my buddies is starting a new Exalted campiagn after we finish his current Dark Heresy campaign.

BTW Eoin I took my favored class bonus as Skill points and not HP (I felt it fit better with what I had in mind for my background).

Looking forward to the start up of the adventure!

Fixed the hit points...got rid of the bracers and added to the shirt...and put the ability scores on.

Sorry about that. Hadn't noticed that I had left them off. I'm going to take the pathfinder initiate trait and will add it onto the sheet. You might need to help me with that..I'm fairly new to Pathfinder. I will look up what I can. If anything else jumps out at you, please let me know. I am very excited to play.

The pathfinder society organised play guide actually has a decent little description of what the society is like, just ignore the factions part.

I think I'll start us off at 6pm on Tuesday, that should mean that nightflier and Kiron won't really have to play catch up, they can start posting straight away.

Good work, very easy read, nice spells prepared system!

All seems well, you are about to board the boat at the start of the campaign, and while not expecting much trouble within the first day of Sargava, caution dictates that you prepare for any attacks ont he ship with a more offensive list.

The pdf for Seekers is in my shopping cart right now. It's been there a week and I had been kicking around the idea of buying it. Sounds like I found another reason!

If your playing a Pathfinder its a pretty nifty resource, I'll grant you that! And it would be nifty to see someone experiment with the wayfinder ioun stone rules. And their a great plot device.

That's okay, by the nature of the start it should be easy for you to slot in, the sooner the better of course.


Seekers of Secrets is one of the best books for the Pathfinder system. You should definitely buy it, if you can...

If you do, your character should feel awful about it, and try not to do so again. Repeated uses would start to alter ones alignment.

DM, I Posted this on the other thread, but it should probably be dealt with here. Init for the animal companion--should I roll separately for he and I, or should I roll once and just subtract four for the ape's init due to the modifiers? I am cool with either way.

25 hp for my eidilon, I took toughness, but I also realized that I rolled for first but shouldn't have.I'm adding the extra 5 that was missing from first level and building up my eidilon.

Fatast is done, I just need to add description, but I intend on doing that on my first Ic post.

and Grudge is done as well(my Eidilon)

Thanks, I normally would have a character up the same day a gm says you can join, sorry for the run around.


I am out for several hours today. If the monster shrugs off my hold animal spell, the ape and I will close distance on him and prepare for the melee.

Hey, Eoin. I am not going to be available for gaming until the end of the month at least. I'm gonna finish my character and I intend to create several more just so that I can jump in the games at short notice. @Marcus: Your having tough luck! But I have a suggestion if you'd like to increase your to-hit bonus.

Remake your character so that he has Weapon finesse instead of Martial Proficiency and take a rapier instead of a longsword. You damage will go down to 1d6, but a rogue's damage comes mostly from sneak attack. But you'll have a +3 increase in your attack rolls.

Just a suggestion of course, if you like the longsword, or whatever else do that!
