k we're playing a home game with two groups. Pretty much i told the players that they should make whatever they want. Well we have no healers for either group. Is it okay pretty much to add the iconic healer to each table so they have a healer.? I want everyone to play what they want and nobody wanted to play a cleric. Some members like clerics but seems everyone is wanting to try something different for a change. It's not a big deal just wanted to make sure you could on a regular basis til we find a healer have npc healers in the game. Got more family members thinking of playing so hopefully we get a cleric or two out of that but i don't want to force the players to be a cleric if they dont'want to be.

Just go to one of the other threads were people complained about to many potions to be found. Isn't it irony.
But back to your question: as already answered you can't just add a cleric. I did play the majority of my games without cleric. In my very first game I was the main 'healer' playing a wizard with a healing kit and caretaker as background trait.
Once you have done the first game you can invest in potions. It's more exoensive - but doable. Another alternative - someone with use magic device maxed out and a wand. There are multiple options - but the group has to be aware of the situation and take it into account.
Nocleric and no money for potions will likely end deadly. But as I said - I played most games without a healer. It is not a problem if the group works together and invests a certain amount in healing. After all you will be stronger in other areas.

We'll probably try our luck with the first adventure: After that, we can purchase some stuff to help out. Thank you for the info.
To give the party a chance to build the resources needed to heal themselves without a cleric, make the first few adventures ones set in large city areas. That way, they can credibly stagger into the nearest temple and ask for healing as needed during the adventure.
As an example, when I played Silent Tide, our party lacked any healing. We stopped at the Sanctuary of Sarenrae, begging for a few cure light wounds to keep our crew on its feet. Since Sarenrae's clergy get up before dawn to prep for sunrise services, we had to deal with the temple's increasingly tired and aggravated head priest, an amusing running gag.
"You guys again?! By the Dawnflower's garnet garters, can't you JUST GO TO SLEEP!?"
