Liberty's Edge

Thinking in black and white the concept still seems evil. Although if you did that to an evil creature would it really be an evil action. When the book comes out i think reading the Oracle section might have some good info about the different aspects of being an Oracle and there might be more info from the Josh about the classes and how they work with pathfinder society.

Liberty's Edge

We played Master of the Fallen Fortress tonight to introduce the group to pathfinder. It was a home campaign and had a blast with it. We had a half-orc barbarian, elven rogue, elven wizard, and me the half-elf druid. Not going to add spoilers but after the final battle i was down -5 hitpoints, the wizard was down -5 hitpoints as well. The rogue had 4 hitpoints and the barbarian had 1 hitpoint. But we did it. Have to say it's not easy its really about grinding out the victory over the long run of the adventure. All and all though it really helps a group find themselves as a group. It's a total dungeon crawl but when your first starting that sort of thing really trains the group to work together and find themselves as a group. So i would say kudos to the author as it was a great adventure and we had a great time of it.

We have some generic mats from our LG past. Must have for DnD. Anyway not sure where to buy them paizo might even have some but use erasable markers on them and make your own map really a must have. Afterwards just use water and washcloth or something and erase the marker from the map.

Liberty's Edge

Yeah i meant most of us have already posted our character's on this website and have our number. But we haven't played anything yet so we should be okay. Pretty excited about running it.

Liberty's Edge

My group hasn't played anything yet but some of us have already submitted our character to pathfinder society. Can we play this module and just pretty much ignore if we have chosen a faction. We have a chosen faction already picked out on our character but could we just not use any faction traits and run the scenario then choose the one we want?

Liberty's Edge

Okay thank you, my fault been reading organized play but hadn't gotten that far yet.

Liberty's Edge

At the end of the adventure you can purchase a plus 1 resistance cloak for 1000 gold but since it's got to be your first adventure you can't possibly afford to buy one after the adventure. So can you buy that at anytime in the future when you have the money or is it just an error? Just wondering because you can buy everything else or at least one of the other items.

Liberty's Edge

If he was roleplaying the character like that because that is who the character is i could understand. But it sounds like he is metagaming wanting the players to do what he wants them too to get his way and that is just not right. Others above in the post gave some great ideas and i'd say follow what they have said.

Liberty's Edge

we'll probally try our luck with the first adventure after that we can purchase some stuff to help out. Thank you for the info.

k we're playing a home game with two groups. Pretty much i told the players that they should make whatever they want. Well we have no healers for either group. Is it okay pretty much to add the iconic healer to each table so they have a healer.? I want everyone to play what they want and nobody wanted to play a cleric. Some members like clerics but seems everyone is wanting to try something different for a change. It's not a big deal just wanted to make sure you could on a regular basis til we find a healer have npc healers in the game. Got more family members thinking of playing so hopefully we get a cleric or two out of that but i don't want to force the players to be a cleric if they dont'want to be.

You have to realize it's medieval times setting. Yes slavery is wrong in real life but in those times if you treated a slave well then they are pretty much better off then the common folk. Have shelter, food, clothing. It's not pretty but the fact is in that sort of setting they had alot better options then if they were free. It's just the way things were back then. Personally a group could decide that they don't want slaves in their group and that would be fine it's personal choice how you want to run a campaign and if you are stuck with that situation at a con then you can choose to not go that con or just accept it as part of the character as long as the person isn't violating their alignment on how they are treating the slaves. I personally wouldn't own one but that's just me.

actually they have proven that elephants are scared of small creatures like mice. They don't pounce on them they run from them. Not sure why that is but it is a fact that elephants don't like small creatures like mice.

Actually i'm a second shift person so was just posting at night. Anyway we are 6 players plus gm but if we were to find a few more then we would go with with 2 groups running adventures in two rooms. Probally would work out better. Then we could also switch the teams around now and again. Had a group do this before and it went well.

I'm interested in this and I think my group will be interested in it.I'll talk with them about starting up a campaign. We will be just playing it with our usual people. Perhaps some members might go to a con to play some don't know. But is it perfectly okay to just play with our group with all the paperwork done and everything? Also we have a group of 7 people that might be a bit big is that okay for the quests or is there changes that need to be made?
