Comic Book Buffy vs. TV Buffy

I thought people might find interest in this article's analysis comparing various illustrators' representation of Buffy. It's written by a former student of mine, so I'm bursting with pride.

What do you think of it?

[It's a fair cop: I'm the editor.]

I don't have time to look at it right now, but what about movie Buffy?

It's not a focus, but there is a picture, yes.

yeah; the movie Buffy; that was my first thought as well; at least she didnt look like a frail toothpick slip of a girl.

That took some effort to create. I like it.

I like TV Buffy the best. As a vampire slayer, she should attract vampires.

What attracts vampires? Not beefy, battle ready military girl.

But a girl frail, sexy, easy on the eyes and easy to play with before the kill. But then . . .

S L A Y E R !!

Good point; I was disenchanted with the tv show until I caught on that she was a super hero; I really liked all the supporting characters as well.
