Basically that. We were considering take a few days and coming down but have heard so many rumors about oil that I want to hear the truth from someone who lives there.

If you reply please mention where you live and what beach you are refering to.

Thanks for your assistance.

I'm in SW FL along the Gulf. They just had a 6PM local news story about this. The beaches in the north (along the panhandle) are still oil free. The only place oil has washed up so far was in the Keys, but they (scientists) are saying the tar balls have the wrong chem signature to be from the BP spill (they don't know yet where those tar balls came from).

So enjoy!

I actually proposed St. Augustine. But "she" feels that the waters are more emerald and sand more white on the gulf beaches. And I always take what "she" thinks to heart.

do what she says, do what she saysIf "she" feels this is the truth, than by all, it must be so! Although, I must say the sand next to A street down here is very nice, and there is plenty of beer!

I'm in West Central FL (St Pete/Clearwater area) and we have gorgeous beaches! If you do go to North FL though, I'd recommend St Augustine as well. The beaches aren't quite as beautiful as ours, but there are so many historical things there that I think its a great place to go. Great food too!

Your mother was a minnow! Air Breather!

St. George Street is nice and the Fort if you like Historical Sightseeing or Pirates there is a pirate ship that you carry ride on can't rememeber the name. The troll might know, he likes pirates...if you know what I mean.
