If this is the class from Kobold Quarterly that I'm thinking of. I would highly doubt it ever would be allowed for PFSOP. I'm pretty certain that all legal material will come from official Paizo books.
Yeah that's the class. I thought kobold was a paizo publication... that's disheartening to hear though.

Well from what I understand they haven't included firearms for various reasons, but mostly because the rules are very "difficult" to put into place. As in they haven't completely formalized the rules yet, and aren't planning to do so soon.
Personally I don't quite agree, but that's how it goes.
Also yeah Kobold Quarterly isn't a Paizo product; it is run by Wolfgang Baur. While he works with Paizo on some products and is great friends of the people at Paizo, they are different companies.
