I haven't had time to take a close look at the content, but the layout alone makes my own conversion efforts feel woefully inadequate. ;P
Nice job.
EDIT: I just noticed that you're using the new stat block format - way to be on top of that. The stat blocks contain the Monster Builder legal text, though. Did you create the monsters in the Monster Builder and then manually change the stat blocks to mimic the new format? I mean, you don't have access to an as-yet-in-development version of the Monster Builder that uses the new format, right? Right? O_O

No I adjusted them manually in ms word.
Scott, your conversions are the gold standard of 4e conversions. They are in many ways my inspiration for such a project. The only difference is i happen to be somewhat of an amatuer photoshop/illustrator junkie and own a copy of CS4. I make all my maps for the games in DM there and print then out.
In the monster Builder, i just created powers that are completely blank except the title, i.e. Traits, Standard Actions, etc. So there would be a place for it on the table when i exported.
Now that I know masterplan convert them for me I shall have to look at the program again. I assume that when June update for DDI rolls out in July and MM3 is in the patch they are going to convert all the old ones in the builder to the new output format.
Anyways, thanks for the comments all. I shall continue to work on it.

That's my take too...so pretty. I'll have to try harder to make my work at least in the same ball park as this.
That said the hard part is not so much making good looking encounters for the players before they start the campaign. Its doing it when your also rushing to have everything done and printed out for the game three adventures in.

I got a chance to spend quite a bit of time talking with Greg Bilsland, one of the D&D editors at WotC, while at PAX East. One of the things he'd been working on was the new monster stat block format, and he expressed to me what a tremendous amount of work it would be to convert every monster in the Compendium to the new format. I believe he said they hadn't yet made a decision on that front. I certainly hope they do, though. I'm a big fan of the new layout.

Sorry for the long time since update. Been working on maps etc...
Here is a look at the map for dead dog alley. Since having a clear map is helpful in 4e, i have decided to set the ambush the players get in the alley, as to tie it all together before they go into the lotus dragons lair. Tell me what you think of it. I have struggled with it for the last week.

Masterplan is currently under revision, after being sent a Cease and Desist letter from WotC.
As I understand it, there were issues with Masterplan allowing users to download the entirety of the compendium through the program, and then being able to freely share the full contents of DDI. I believe the next version of Masterplan will remove this feature - possibly adding direct DDI access in a similar fashion to IPlay4E, which would retain access to the information without breaking any terms of service.
