Available Trait Question

I noticed in the updated PFSguidelines that 2 traits that were not allowed in the previous version, Sacred Touch and Focused Mind are now available? Is this true or a misprint? I know the 2.2 version is due out very soon so will check that out as well when it comes out.

No, those are still not allowed. The only things allowed from the Second Darkness Player's Guide are these, as listed in the PFS Guide:

sacred touch is basically stabalize at will and focused mind gives +2 concentration. neither is really that overpowering and i think either one would quite fine as a legal option. those are both from the traits pdf.

I had looked through the traits web enhancement for the Core Book before posting and somehow did not see those two traits are listed there as well as in Second Darkness. Then I checked and saw they are not listed in the PFS Guide as not available in the entry on Traits, but if they were listed in the previous Guide as not available, then it is probably an error that they are not that way in the current Guide.

Ok so the Traits are in Second darkness as well. Meaning that they are NOT legal then. Thanks, that is what i wanted to know.

Hm? Focused Mind and Sacred Touch are both legal for Society play, they're in the Character Traits web enhancement.

If you want a good list to reference, every Trait from the Paizo products is listed here. Traits marked with a small P symbol next to the name are legal for the Society.

My thoughts exactly but they are in the companion Second Darkness as well. In the latest version of PFS guidelines it shows them legal in Web Enhancements but since they are in Second darkness and it doesnt allow them....what is the answer? Need someone with authority to say it is or isnt viable or updated in next version 2.2.

Since the latest version of the PFS guidelines post date the publication of Second Darkness, and the 2.1 guidelines clearly reverse the exclusion of these traits in the Web Enhancement document from the previous version the answer is self evident. :)

What Zizazat said. The Traits document has been updated to use the PRPG guidelines, while Second Darkness uses the 3.5 ruleset. This is why Second Darkness is not mentioned as being allowed, while the Traits PDF is. Same traits, but slightly different mechanics in some.
