Suggestions for a ranged Paladin.

Liberty's Edge

For my own amusement, I'm considering running a Halfling Paladin that primarily focuses on bows (in homage to one of my favorite Baldur's Gate characters).

I am NOT concerned with "optimization" but *would* like any helpful build suggestions for viability (i.e. Way less feats than a fighter, plus Paladin-enhancing feats to consider, so what should be prioritized).

Anything helpful will be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, ranged paladins are strangly strong in PF.

What Stats do you have?
If 15 pointbuy, i would go
Str 16-2
Ko 10
Dex 14+2
Ch 14+2
Int 8 to 12 (depends on how much We you want)
We 8 to 12 (depends on how much Int you want)

You don´t need more than 10 Ko, you are no front-line fighter and if you take damage use lay on hands on yourself as a free action.

Just up Ch every chance you get and you are set.
Feats are a bit tricky, much depends if you want to go mounted (could be good with your 15ft movement in heavy armor, and you can use a regular cheap lance to charge some foes with smite and divine weapon up and running)

Let me see...

1 Pointblank shot
3 Precise shot
5 Rapid shot
7 Manyshot
9 Deadly aim
11 Mounted combat
13 Leadership (to get yourself a nice mount, griffon or something)
15 Mounted archery
17 Ride-by Attack
19 Spirited charge

Grand Lodge

I would suggest shortbow since you'll have smite dice for when you need to take someone down quick. Keep a one-handed weapon handy for when the enemy manages to close with you. Lets you hold on to your bow instead of dropping it.

I believe a Paladin of Erastil might be useful
