I really don't like the idea of a spell caster acting with impunity, especially if he's associated with Asmodeus. I rush him to attack.
Tobias cautiously moves back, moving just out of melee range. Pulling out what appears to be a small slab of butter, Tobias begins to chant a spell; as the butter seems to grow upon itself, a floating glob of shiny ichor, Tobias throws the glob at the center of the Wagon.
I'm assuming from the map that the four "corner" (I can't think of the actual word) of the bridge are at least human height? If so I run to the bridge using one to have cover and maintain cover until the next round.

As the horsemen fall victim to the caltrops, the cleric immediately yells at the driver, [b]"Turn us around!"[b] and then climbs up onto the top of the wagon to man the crossbow. As he reaches the crossbow he sees Hadrian moving for the cover of the bridge post. Swivelling the crossbow around he begins to take aim but his aim is thrown off as Salm buries his arrow into his shoulder knocking him off the trigger.
Zumii senses the wagon drawing closer, she gently touches Salm on his side & casts .

As Zumii casts her spell upon Salm, the 2 of the Hellknight armigers drop off the wagon and draw their swords as they approach Hadrian. One is close enough to get off an attack with his longsword. He swings in an overhand arc, slashing across the monk's right leg. The second knight maneuvers his way around the horses and closes in to stand shoulder to shoulder with his fellow armiger.
As two of the knights challenge Hadrian, one of the knights on top of the wagon pulls up his own crossbow and fires into the bush barely missing Salm and Zumii.
On the other side of the road, Thosys steps out from his cover long enough to pull the trigger on his own crossbow. He has better luck than the knight as his bolt flies true and buries itself deep into the right thigh of the cleric who growls in pain.

Lia is able to get herself up from under the bridge without detection. She sees that the running board used by the hellknights also runs along the back. She also notices that the door to the inside of the prison wagon is located on the right side of the wagon. She can see a rather substantial padlock clasped firmly on the door.

While Lia makes her way up onto the bridge to see if she can find a way into the wagon, Tobias makes things rather slippery for the Hellknights actually on the wagon. As the grease spell takes effect two of the armingers fall off the wagon, landing with a clank and clatter while the others latch onto to the edge tightly. The cleric on top of the wagon does not seem to as effected but he does have hold of a rather large crossbow firmly bolted to the top of the wagon.
Salm smiles to himself as he pulls another arrow and draws the bow back. They didn't want to hurt anyone and they attacked first.
Shortbow Damage
Zumii watches as Salm takes aim & fires again at the Hellknights. She touches him gently on the side once more & casts . Zumii then goes back to griping her punching dagger & shield tightly.
Using the cover of the bridge I'm going to use throwing knives to see if I can make a pin cushion out of the priest.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 = 12 + 2 = 14
damage: 1d4 + 3 = 4 + 3 = 7
Tobias, weary of the man with the giant crossbow, mumbles under his breath and points at the armoured man.

Salm fires another shot at the cleric and it manages to find its way between the cleric's full plate to sink into his leg.
The cleric grimaces in pain but smiles sinisterly as he pulls a potion from his belt and drinks it down. The previous arrow wounds begin to seal up as he drinks down the liquid. Tossing the bottle aside, the cleric grabs hold of the crossbow with renewed vigor; eager to fire at one of the party.
As the cleric grabs the crossbow Hadrian fires off a throwing knife but his aim is off slightly and instead the knife bounces off the shaft of the crossbow.
Looking to protect Salm, Zumii casts another resistance spell and continues to hold her weapons as she sees the armigers begin to spread out to deal with the attackers. Two knights head towards Hadrian while one heads toward Salm and Zumii. Another of the knights moves back towards Tobias. Two of the knights begin to pick themselves up, somehow missing the advancing Lia who is standing right behind them and beginning to work on the wagon's lock. The cleric above her does not seem to be able to see her from his vantage point.
The two knights attacking Hadrian each seem unable to land a blow on the nimble monk and curse in frustration. The knight heading towards Tobias growls, "You'll pay for this with your lives! You have interfered with ordained business of the Order of the Rack!" The knight headed towards Zumii and Salm yells, "You had best surrender now or there will be trouble!"

Thosys rushes forward reloading his crossbow and does draw the attention of one of the knights facing Hadrian. However, he also sees that the cleric atop the wagon has taken note of him as well and is moving the large crossbow in his direction.
Meanwhile, Lia continues to work away on the lock. It is quite well constructed on she finds that her usual techniques do not seem to be working. Still she feels confident that her next try will yield results.
Tobias prepares to launch his sleep hex at the cleric atop the wagon when he sees the knight armiger come rushing around the corner of the bridge. Stepping back, he releases his power at the armiger who stops in his tracks and begins to sway for a moment before slumping to the ground snoring rather loudly through his visor...
Seeing one of the armigers running towards them. Zumii moves around the scrub brush and takes a defensive stance hoping to draw the knight towards her and away from Salm.
Salm fires off another arrow at the cleric manning the balista, ignoring the hellknight coming towards him.

I'm posting from the road so I'm too lazy to look up and see sequence so just keep this for when it's time... hmm ... bad guys standing in my face, what do I do, what do I do ... oh yeah, hit them...

Salm fires off his crossbow mantaining his composure as the Hellknight rushes towards him. The bolt flies true and opens up a new wound on the cleric's left leg. The cleric curses as he realigns the crossbow to shoot at Salm. With a sneer the cleric squeezes the trigger, releasing the rather large bolt from its tether. A large snapping sound can be heard as the bolt streaks through the air towards the inquisitor. As Salm braces for impact the bolt nicks one of the larger trees in the scrub and deflects just past Salm's head. So close is the bolt that Salm can feel the wind of its passage before it slams into the ground; shattering into splinters.
The knight on Thosys has better luck. His sword slashes across Thosys' thigh leaving a large gash which begins to bleed heavily.
The knight who is driving the wagon is working on getting the horses to back up, pushing the wagon with the t-bar hitch system. Still, the horses are spooked and the driver is not instilling them with much confidence so not much is happening other than much cursing and neighing.
Meanwhile, Hadrian faces off with the knight in front of him. His first punch deflects off the armiger's armour but the overconfident knight does not see the monk's true attack. The meaty fist slams into the side of the knight's helmet causing the knight's head to slam against his helmet. With a groan, the knight slumps to the ground; unconscious. As Hadrian admires his handiwork he sees the last of the guards advancing towards him, brandishing his longsword menacingly. Through his visor, the knight says, "You'll pay for that, fool. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us!"
Zumii holds her action waiting on the advancing knight's action. The knight moves forward brandishing his sword, hacking at Zumii attempting to penetrate her defences. His attack is clumsy, however, and his blade merely slams against Zumii's shield and deflects harmlessly away.
Over at the wagon, Lia continues to work on the wagon's lock. After a few awkward twists, Lia solves the padlock and is able to pop it open.
As Lia manages to open the lock Thosys is faced with an armiger bent on continuing his attack on him. Taking a step back, Thosys stays on his original task and fires a bolt at the cleric manning the balista. In his haste and distraction, the shot goes wide missing the cleric by a wide margin.
Zumii lunges at the Hellnight using her punching dagger in her right hand & raising her shield in the left.
Tobias hastily rushes to join his friends. (p17)
Hadrian replies as he swings squarely to smash the knight in a vulnerable joint, "Then I'll just have to hit all of you to be fair."
Salm continues his barrage against the cleric on the balista

Continuing his barrage on the cleric, Salm fires his crossbow once again. However, this time his aim fails him and the bolt sticks into the side of the wagon well below the cleric behind the crossbow.
Standing on top of the wagon, the cleric yells out, "Feel the unholy power of Azmodeus!" With that Thosys, Tobias, Hadrian and Lia feel a wash of negative energy pass through them The knight driving the carriage and the other two knights in the area also seem to feel the effects of the cleric's magic
Thrown off by the wave of negative energy, Hadrian misses with his first attack but lands a solid blow the the Hellknight's knee; the sound of bone straining against the force can be heard. The knight facing him grunts in pain and swings his sword wildly over the monk's head before he drops to the ground.
As Tobias makes his way back to meet up with the rest of the party, Zumii contends with the knight in front of her. Each of them jockey for position but neither is able to land a solid blow on the other.
The last knight moves forward to attack Thosys. He slashes in a downward arc and barely misses Thosys.
As the battle rages outside, Lia enters the wagon and closes the door. Inside she sees the bruised and battered body of an elven male. His brown hair is silvered at the temples though it is matted with blood and sweat currently. Rising from the floor of the wagon, he says weakly, "I am Areal. I trust you are not with the Hellknights?"

Zumii continues to engage the Hellknight closest to her.
Salm curses his miss and takes another shot.

As her skin stings and burns from the unholy power emanating from the roof of the wagon Lia dives in. Rolling to her feet, she gives Areal a winning smile after determining she is mostly ok. Assuming her grungy form makes the answer to his question about her being a Hellknight self evident, "Here drink this. Ready to go for a swim?" She hands him one of the healing potions from her pouch and looks pointedly out the door at the swiftly flowing creek.
Tobias gasps for air as the wave of dark energy rips through his body. Feebly, Tobias grasps at his belt, quickly ripping one of his potions free. Tobias uncorks the potions and throws it back, quaffing it greedily. As the medicine seeps into his system, he feels refreshed; he stands upright, his tremors abated, and squints the nearby foes.
Hadrian spares a glance at at the fallen knight on the ground.
"Hey, jobby, I'm about to have something to confess."

Salm fires his crossbow but again is unable to hit the cleric who is using the giant crossbow as cover. The bolt bounces off harmlessly as the cleric loads a large bolt of his own into his mounted crossbow.
Pre-occupied with the reload the cleric does not see Hadrian step over the unconscious knight at his feet and launch his dagger through the air. The blade spins end over end before finally landing with a sick thud while it cuts into the cleric' armour around his shoulder.
While Tobias drinks his potion and Thosys, retreats from the hellknight next to him, Zumii continues to fight with hellknight before her.Finally she is able to slide her dagger through the knight's defensive and cuts deeply into his abdomen.
The knights take their chances and continue to press the assault. The one of the wagon takes his sword and swings at Tobias but is unable to land a solid below past the horses. His fellow knights share his fate as they both miss Hadrian (one moves up from attacking Thosys and Zumii.
Meanwhile, in the carriage, Areal takes the offered potion from Lia and drinks it down. His wounds seem to lesser and his stands straighter and with more energy. Looking of the window of the cell door, Areal says, "Despite your potion, I do not think that I would survive that sort of tumble out of here. Perhaps we should wait for a more opportune time to exit the carriage?"
