Now that it's out...
There's a LOT of Lovecraft-friendly monsters in Bestiary 2. The ones that are actually from Lovecraft's writings are gugs, denizens of Leng, shantaks, and Leng spiders.

True. I'd LOVE to do a book about Leng. At which point statting up moonbeasts makes a lot of sense. But without that staring me in the face, I default to monsters I like better. Like the spiders of Leng, or shantaks.

I recall that the Cats also travel to the moon and battle the cats from Saturn and the Moon Beasts, rescuing Randolph Carter in the "Dream-quest of Unknown Kadath."
Of course they could all be high-level spell-casters.
