Chainmail and other armors come with gauntlets. I had a few questions about that:
1) Does the weight of chainmail include the weight of the gauntlets? If so, can I save myself 2 lb. by removing them? Or is it that I should be adding 2 lb. to the armor listing to account for the gauntlets every time I buy a new suit?
2) If my armor is made up of mithral or similar special material, are the gauntlets that come with the armor also made of the same material? For example, if I have mithral chainmail, are the gauntlets also made of mithral? This is an important distinction for when I remove the gauntlets to save weight (it's the difference between 1 lb. or 2 lb.).
