After years of blissful perfection and 70-odd problem free deliveries, the unthinkable has happened! My order arrived with the envelope torn open and sodden. Two of the three books inside were ruined - the pages had fused together and careful attempts to separate them ended in failure. Can you tell me the procedure to get a new 'Mother of Flies' and 'Andoran' please? Via you guys, claiming from one of the postal services, some other route? (I have many pictures if needed)
Strangely, the water was too scared to permeate 'Classic Horrors Revisited'!

I'm sorry to hear about your ill-fated books! I will put replacement copies in with your next subscription shipment.
Thanks,

Same thing happened to me a year(?) ago. The cardboard envelope was torn and taped back up, and the two products where bent and waterlogged. I called the local post office and then the district manager of the postal service and the bottom line is:
If it is not insured, the post office has no responsibility for the safe delivery of anything.

This is why I always choose ground shipping, they put in a nice box which absorbs more damage

Living near Baltimore and after getting hit by the press described Snowmageddon my mail carrier couldn't be hassled by the blocked mail box and tossed my latest Paizo shipment on my porch. My neighbor made the comment to me that they saw it happen and wanted to make sure I was aware of the package. To my surprise it was in the snow bank next the porch stairs. It's half soaked but I have it drying. Things that I don't appreciate receiving like bills, taxes and junk mail never seem to get the same treatment.

Just like that? Wow! Thank you Cosmo! Thank you very much!
I don't have a firstborn but I can always name a kitten after you ;-)
Would you name a kitten after me, too? I'm fairly sure that it would make Asmodeus happy, and prevent postal trolls from savaging your future shipments! ;)

LOL! Amazing how what seems an innocent question ends up sounding like a threat!
I'm hurt that you would think *I* would have something to do with your... er, misfortune! On the contrary; my innocent suggestion referred to the benefits of being an Evil worshipper of Asmodeus. Even postal trolls, despite being nasty brutes, realize that it's better to keep their claws away from my shipments! ;)
So how about signing this contract?
