So, we get in after mowing and I'm hungry, SP is not. He starts up Red Dead Redemption while I munch a cold sammich and watch. He starts out catching a horse thief, which is dandy. Then hogties the dude and shoots him in the head. This is WAY more graphic than we expected.
"Eating!"
"Sorry..."We'd been talking about how there are no buffalo, and he rides over the next hill.
"Hey, buffalo!"BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM!
"What are you doing?"
"I'm just killing this herd."BLAMBLAMBLAMSuddenly, his horse dies as it's t-boned by a wild boar.
"Boar! I've never seen those before! Look at all of 'em!" BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM "Bad piggie! Die!" BLAMBLAMBLAM
Then, of course, he has to gut and skin them. Which is complete with sound effects and blood splashing onscreen.
"Eating!"
"Sorry... just think of them as hairless animals covered in teryaki sauce. Oh, look, a fox!"
"Aw, I like foxes, just let it.." BLAMBLAM!
"Hey, a different kind of fox!!"BLAMBLAMBLAM!He's a one-man ecological disaster. And after I left and returned to the room, I was greeted with, "I've just bought a sawed-off shotgun. Those buffalo better not piss me off NOW!"

I really hate going to the doctor. I am so sick of being prodded, poked, groped, blinded by little lights, and everything else you might imagine. I am also tired of being spoken to like I am an idiot for a major part of my afternoon.
And after all of that, nothing changed. He is keeping me on the same drugs that have little to no effect on my Fibro. Its like he wasn't listening to me at all.
Well, something did change, I guess. I learned I need to find a new doctor, preferably a specialist. Because if I stay here I can guarantee nothing will change.
Otherwise I had a great weekend and finally got to spend large amounts of quality time with my partner. That was wonderful in the extreme.

I really hate going to the doctor. I am so sick of being prodded, poked, groped, blinded by little lights, and everything else you might imagine. I am also tired of being spoken to like I am an idiot for a major part of my afternoon.
And after all of that, nothing changed. He is keeping me on the same drugs that have little to no effect on my Fibro. Its like he wasn't listening to me at all.
Well, something did change, I guess. I learned I need to find a new doctor, preferably a specialist. Because if I stay here I can guarantee nothing will change.
Otherwise I had a great weekend and finally got to spend large amounts of quality time with my partner. That was wonderful in the extreme.

Unfortunately our Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms Tax and Trade Bureau, can be a pain in the ass. Bundaberg has to get approved by them to market in the States. So far no go.

Yeah. Good morning. Had a loooong post that got eaten about how awful The Informant! was. The fact that it got eaten only increases my rage at Sondbergh(sp?) and fuels my belief that the man has some kind of super-power that keeps him from being criticized in any way. Two hours of my life that I won't get back.
Some of us might not like Michigan :-PWhy is it whenever I have a chance to be on and talk to people, NO ONE is around??

o.O Well, that's certainly not good. Sigh. And looks like more torrential downpours today. I've already lost about two thirds of my container garden due to the plants being drowned in all the rain we've been getting. But that's still better than having lightning put holes in the roof.

This was funny. I went with my son. (8 year old.) I stopped by the store and picked up a spray bottle. He asked me why. I asked him if he's seen pictures of flowers with water/dew on them. I told him that I was going to try and make that happen if it isn't on the flowers to begin with. He says -- "so you're going to cheat".
Heh. A lot of photographers do exactly that.
In a similar story, my partner likes to pretend that this picture was taken exactly as it was. In fact, we found the old high chair stashed in a corner with some other furniture where the light was terrible, so I said, "Let's drag this into the middle of that brightly lit part of the abandoned restaurant. It will look creepier that way." And sure enough, it's creepy as hell. Sometimes you have to stage a little :)
