GRRRRR... The Evil, nasty, viscious Drow got the Top of the Page! Burn him!

Silver Crusade

Good evening, all! What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

So honestly, I don't know what my coworkers do all day.

I always spent way too much time on the internet at work, and still managed to be at or near the top in terms of productivity (which is probably why I still have my job). Today with no opportunities for distraction, I did something like 3 days worth of work. What the hell is everybody else at my job doing with themselves? Peculiar.

Start documenting the amount of toilet paper used versus the amount of time each spends in the can.

It is kind of like that office movie w/ I think Jennifer Anniston and the guy who burned down the building and many others.

All these people kept telling the auditor how hard their job was and he kept being astounded at how little they actually accomplished.

Then, the star told them that he got all his work done in a few minutes and then basically jerked around. He thought he was in trouble but the auditor loved him.

:)

Yeah, I'm pretty much the guy in Office Space at this point :)

One glaring thing though, involving Jennifer Anniston...

I hate that, it happened to me all the time. I save my big posts now before I post them. :\

Thanks for the insights yesterday, Puffy and Urizy. Where do you stand on Wizard "having to be specialists otherwise they suck"?

In PF? I haven't gotten a chance to play a wizard in PF yet, but from the looks of things I wouldn't necessarily say that. Versatility, IMO, is far better than a few tiny boosts to a certain spell group. Enchantment always looks really good to me though, but we tend to have pretty diplomatic groups.

Why are they protesting?

Who knows what runs through phelps and his band of rejects protest anything.

I guess we 'Godless F*gloving heathens' in Horry County need to be brought the gospel of hate. I hate that bunch. I really, really do.

It appears they have been successful. ;)

** spoiler omitted **

Perhaps this one?

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
— Matthew 7:15

I had stopped noticing that I had turned the corner down to a page a while back. It was turned on Matthew 5. I think that is probably it.

And the follwing lines...:

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Now, this is not a religion discussion but rather a simple explanation.

His words grow in your (general your and you here...) mind and leave you with anger and hatred. Even those opposing his words are still influenced to hatred by their way of thinking.

He pretty much fits the bill of a false prophet.

Aside from Sharoth, if anyone that will be in MB next week have any specific RPG books (it doesn't have to be exclusively D&D) half off used, gimme a list here. I'll be taking off to Cincy tomorrow morning at 8 and my access online will be limited.

Off to mow the yard....

Oh, I don't mind paying for my goofup. ~shrugs~ It is not the first time that I have gotten extra stuff. I plan on bringing my extras down there anyway.

Well, I have been impressed with the stuff that Monte's company puts out. I just loved When the Sky Falls plus the other Malhavoc press books that I have.

Ayup! Good stuff.

This is another book that is being sold cheap in bulk at Half Price Books ... I believe between $6.50 - $7.00 if I remember correctly. I did pick one up awhile back because I wanted something that had pulp for d20 Modern. Hyrum's the author. :D

Forbidden Kingdoms Pulp Adventures

Anyone?

It's the influence of Uncle Urizen's imminent presence warping the space-time continuum and affecting their young, impressionable minds.

Good morning! No zoo yesterday, too rainy. Ran errands and suchlike instead. A day together is still better than a day apart, so no complaints.

Playing commencement this morning. Elgar, the musician's least favorite composer every May. TTFN, must get dressed and fly. Hope everyone has a spectacular Saturday!
