I am not sure if it is a chain, though I did notice a number of stores shared the same name. The people who ran the British Papermill would be hard pressed to manage a chain I think. :)
Those action figures would look good on the table. I especially like the creatures with the tech embedded into their bodies. That would make for some perfect Chaositech.
I've seriously been eye-balling Rackham's minis because they're already painted. Their Confrontation and AT-43 lines would work well. Only place I saw 'em in stock up-close was at Ravenstone out near Karl & 161.
I've always wanting to run a dystopic sci-fi fantasy campaign. It'd be a mix of WH40K's Dark Heresy, Star Wars, and Chaositech. Think of Hellknights in Space stamping out heretics in the name of the Emperor. :)

III. You said you wanted III and IV.
I had the Player's Guide to Faerun in my hands as well, but I wasn't fond of the hardbinding wear. My thought is that if the binding has a little bit too much wear for my tastes, I wouldn't purchase that for another person. But I see them pop-up, so I reckon I may see another this weekend.
Woody - I saw the BoVD, but I didn't pick it up for you for the same reason.

Okay, I took my 15% off coupon back to HPB. Got the Complete Mage, Lewis' The Monk, and I, Strahd. I was nervous about the latter, but it was a clearance hardback that still had its jacket cover, and I've heard it recommended several times, so that overcame my suspicion. This is how many years it has taken me to buy a TSR novel for myself, if you don't count the Drizzt graphic novels.
I don't know who is worse with frequent visitation; you or I? Heh.

I was so going to treat myself to one of these for graduating. I'm tempted to furiously post about what dicks a certain company is being. But I'm just going to hold my temper and hope for the best.
This *rare* @$%%# stinks. One of the issues I have against capitalism supply & demand, but this is not a socio-economics thread so I'll just shut-up now. :P
Also dropped in a B&N today because I had a 15% off coupon on top of the 10% membership. Picked up a mini pack ... in the hopes that one of the randoms could be .... Graz'zt.

To follow up from my posts from earlier today, this afternoon I got called into the manager's office. I thought "holy s!$!, they really are firing me." Then I saw the "Notice of Disciplinary Action" sitting out on the desk and was simultaneously relieved and dismayed.
Anyway, we had a long talk (mostly initiated by me) about how my motivation has been waning, how all of my friends at work have quit or gotten fired, how all the projects I've worked on in the last two years have failed to ever come to fruition, and how I've felt stuck in one spot for the last two and a half years with little prospect of movement, and how it's very tempting to me to seek out distractions. It was an interesting discussion (I figured I didn't have much to lose and went with the honest approach).
I can't say as anything really came out of it, but getting "written up" bites. It means I can't apply for a promotion for 6 months.
Anyway, my posting from work will probably be virtually nil for the foreseeable future.

Dang, that really sucks. My condolences. :\

I have a few of them and they are really nice. They have better paint jobs than the WotC miniatures and it is nice to get some unique minis without mucking around with the whole random aspect. All around, I highly recommend them.
I know Monte had used many of the metal Rackham minis for various purposes in his Ptolus campaign. Those are getting harder to find, but they are worth the cost.....most of the time. The sculpts for both lines seem made for Ptolus.
Usually you can find them at online mini retailers like Miniature Market . At Origin's last year I found them for really cheap, something like 50% off each pack.
