In that case, I advise never watching zombie movies before you go to bed. You sure as hell don't want me chasing you through your dreams. Trust me on this.....

Well, the surprise party Roger and Nancy were planning for their son went a little haywire when he showed up to the party with his new best friend, a clone of Attila the Hun. Downtown, the police were busy responding to a rogue penguin that had escaped from the zoo and now threatened the lives of a busload of girlscouts. Meanhwile, on the outskirts of town, Gary and Erik were trying to convince Joshua that he really couldn't summon a demon using "magic spells" contained in the Harry Pot....NO, WAIT! That's my soap opera.

I didn't say he couldn't do it, just that it wasn't a good idea, and--

Oh wait. Wrong Gary. Never mind. Move along folks, nothing to see here.

I don't worry about it too much. My worst recurring nightmare is that I mutate into some sort of anaconda-human hybrid and go on a killing spree. I know it is just my subconscious needing a release.

Besides I love hooror/thrillers (especially dino/zombie/monster movies). I wouldn't stop watching them on any account.

Yeah for using sick leave to go to dentist check-ups.

Morning all.

A few weeks (4) ago I hurt my thumb in karate. I thought it was just a sprain so I didn't think much about it. It didn't really get better after two weeks so I went to the doctor. She takes an x-ray and didn't see anything so she said that is was probably just a fracture and "don't use your primary thumb for a couple of weeks". (Yeah right.) She sends the x-ray off to a radiologist (sp?) and they said that I needed to see a specialist. It turns out I have an Avulsion Fracture. Basically the tendon pulled a bit of the bone off of my thumb. Ow! So now I get to wear a brace/cast for the next four weeks. [sarcasm]Yeah me![/sarcasm]

I got a few pictures this last weekend. It snowed pretty hard though and I was concerned about getting the camera too wet so I didn't take as many as I would have liked. I'll try and post them tonight.

Now off to do a few more things (work-wise) before working on my character.

Happy Monday!

Thanks for the links. I already had the facebook page, probably thanks to Urizen who sends me a bunch.

Spoiler:

I do not know whether or not I have you on my fb list. My real name is Shane Wilson. If ther are multiple Shane Wilson's I would be the one with lots of Paizonian friends on my list.

Oh yeah. I see that "Arizona" is still going on. I'm actually kind of surprised.

Sorry about the thumb, but at least it was discovered before it got worse. Many major Karate styles tend to make demands of certain parts of the hand.

That sucks about the fracture.

Will you post a link to the pics or do we need to find them on your fb account?

A rare post at lunch because I'm out running errands thank goodness for free wi-fi post.

Sorry about your thumb Moff. I'm sure you'll come to appreciate how much your thumb does for you over the next few weeks with that brace.

Now I have to pack up and head back to work.

I concur. I had one where he was chasing me and alternating between saying brains, go Saints and singing in the navy.

Are you referring to the run-down building, the crow, and so forth? Those were all taken on one day where he set out to take pictures but it was overcast and all the color photos were coming out drab and colorless. He figured as long as he wasn't getting any decent color, he might as well shoot in B&W, and it worked out.

Yay! I helped with that one. We live on a little hill, so when we set out that night we had no idea it was that foggy in the lower-lying areas. That's the Erie Canal, BTW.

Personally, I really like two of the zoo pictures: the flamingo and the gorilla. That gorilla turned around and looked right at him just as he was shooting.

As a matter of fact yes. There are times when it just gives nuances that are not seen with color. I guess I am just old enough to remember black and white tv ect..

I am partial to them also, but in this case I liked that there was so much color in some simple and natural pictures.

I have to say, the fog is my favorite as well. Overall, his work is fantastic.

I don't think I've seen that one before. I think it's good to choose one that not many other people are using, to avoid confusion. That one should work nicely.

Afternoon everyone. Just spent the last half an hour with Treppa, who wanted to get a magic 8-ball to see how the characters from her Shackled City game will fair. EEP.

Before I forget-

CH- That dinner sounds amazing.

Freehold- That is an interesting blend of bitter and sweet. Good news about the bike. The configuration sounds interesting to me.

Moff- Sorry to hear about that fracture. The idea of not using the primary thumb is a bit absurd, but good luck with the brace.

Hi Lynora. Haven't seen you around in a while? How are you doing? Hows the kidlet?

The kidlet is home sick from school today, but otherwise he's good.

I dropped into mostly lurk mode a couple of months ago while I was trying to sort out some stuff with my personal life. It's complicated. Doing better now though. Now if I can just survive allergy season...:/

There is a hot girl in the courtyard sunbathing and doing yoga. She is *very* flexible. Trying not to be creepy and stare or anything, but the courtyard is right outside my window, so it's hard not to at least glance every couple minutes. :)

Rain is a good thing.

Around here, the puddles are a pale green color when it rains.
