Funny story. I had to take Fortran WAY back in the day. Spent every Friday night in the computer lab struggling. Took the final and it felt too easy. Got an A in the class, but I have no idea how. Guess that final was as easy as I thought.

I've got it on hold. We're number 20 in line. I also put in a request for the library to purchase the animated series and the 3rd part of the live action. They're usually pretty good about fulfilling requests.Watched Death Note last night. (We have a great library system.) That was a very interesting movie that I think some of you would enjoy. It is based on a Manga comic book series. It seemed a little low budget, but still felt it was very good.Watch part two of that. It is actually one movie split into two DVDs. Very entertaining and it does follow the Anime series rather well.
I saw this post at work, but couldn't respond then. You will love the animated series. I've seen the first 7 and I'm waiting for my boys to get home from school this summer to finish. Agony. I'm normally not a big fan of anime but Death Note caught me hook, line and sinker.
If you don't want to wait for the library, Amazon has some great deals on the dvd's.
Or get the cheapest Netflix account ($8.99) and either stream it or get discs via USPS.

Sorry so many are having a downer time right now. On the depression route, good luck with the therapy/medication route. That seems the best course.
As far as the job doldrums go, try to remember that even though it may seem like you may be stuck in a job, you always have a choice. You may CHOOSE to stay in a sucky job, because it has other benefits, i.e. close to family, friends, other interests / responsibilities. If that is the case, than remind yourself why and for whom, you go to work, and that it is your choice to do this job at this time. and that you retain the power to make another choice in the future.
Our jobs do not define us, how we live our lives and make the world a better place defines us. To that end, I believe the contributors to this thread are doing a great job of improving our little world of ours.

I see them at 3 pm tomorrow. They should have everything from the ER and the lab by then. Apart from dizziness, weakness, fatigue, and palpitations, I don't feel bad. That can all be stress, too. We'll see. ANNOYING.

But seriously, stress can make a lot of things occur to which we really don't know why it does other than to claim it as being psychosomatic. Hopefully they have some answers for you Tuesday afternoon.

Ain't that the truth. That's what we're trying to figure out with the dog insurance we picked up recently. We're waiting for a certain claim to process so we know how to proceed with this surgery he needs to correct his medial luxating patella grade 3 issue on his back leg / knee. Now he's been coughing when he's over-excited. Methinks he may have eaten some of the mulch-fertilizer we laid out on Saturday and kept trying to keep him out of it. We're trying to fix the patches of dirt he made from digging and urinating. Silly ... expensive ... boy.
