And it isn't so much "grammar" that is my hot button. It's more that "stupid" seems to be the new benchmark for "good enough". (I'm not talking about people who have learning disabilities - dyslexia - or ESL people. I'm talking about people who have a college education and can't figure out 3rd grade grammar.)

Quick story:
I used to work at Village Inn (Baker's Square/Poppin' Fresh equivalent to IHOP). I was a cook there for part of the time. We made our pancake batter from scratch. A friend of mine said that he really liked their pancakes. He asked me if I could get him the recipe. I told him that I made it so often I had it memorized. He asked what it was. I started with "10 pounds of egg yolks..." He quickly asked how many did it feed. I really had no idea. But a batch lasted us a couple of days anyway. He ended up passing on the rest of the recipe.

Most people on this thread are really good. There are the occasional typos -- but we all do that.

Its not so stressful as it is I am just getting burned out. And the new teacher is just a pain that I don't need. I really don't need an anal retentive pain in the neck right now. I was kinda hoping for a laid back prof. I am considering a class transfer...but then I remind myself that the class is only 4 more weeks long. I am trying take her as a challenge, but finding it hard to care.
