Killing is always an option! :)
Might play me some Fallout today. Not in the mood for DA quite yet. And I've read 200 pages out of one of my books. I'm up to about 3 hours of mixed stimulus before I get tuckered out. Progress!

So... I came bak from watching Clash of the Titans about an hour ago.
I must say I was very disappointed. :(
The special effects were awesome, but I saw no need to make me watch it in 3D when I'm not really a fan. It didn't add to the experience and I found myself loking over the glasses in 2D for about a quarter of it. :/
The storyline is vastly different than the original and they left it wide, wide, wide, wide, wide open for a sequal.
The thing I liked best about it... watching Gemma Arterton for about a third of the movie. mmmmm... Gemma Arterton...
Actually I did like Medusa as well, and the Kraken was retty neat too. My biggest complaint about the creatures was that they all looked similar in appearance (Stygian Witches, Hades Harpys(?), Kraken, Charon...). And don't even get me started about the
If the original wasn't one of my favourite movies I probably would have liked it, but as I said, I was sorely disappointed.

It's because Harry Hamlin wasn't in the movie, wasn't it?
Speaking of which, did this one have Bupo?

I reserved a room at Coast Bellvue Hotel for a checkin of June 17th and a checkout of June 21st. It costs $109 per night (even with 4 people, which is surprising) plus tax, which probably puts it at $130 per night. We can figure out how to split the cost later.
How close is that to ground zero?

That is the site of PaizoCon. It's very nice to be able to roll out of your room, go down a flight of stairs and be in the gaming area.

Bummer. I was looking forward to this. But I'll see it at matinee prices so that makes the experience better. :)

Eh. I didn't realize the Con was really at the the hotel until I got there. A lot of times, the convention center is a separate building from the hotel.

Making it convenient for those with hangovers from the night before (or those choosing not to sleep) can just stroll or stagger into the convention location to get their 6am gaming fix on. :P

Well, this should be interesting. I just signed up to see if Bioware would have me as a Beta Tester for the New Star Wars MMO.

Very nice! It helps that you're living in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the country, but you do an excellent job capturing it.

Nope.
Last night the Mini Cooper decided that its battery wanted to die. We were up until 3 AM recharging the battery for today.
Apparently, this is a common occurance with Mini's. The Official response is that a Mini is a Roadster and isn't designed to be used for cross town travel... but is designed for long distances! Really? I don't know anyone who'd want to travel more than across town in one of those.
Sigh.

My woman has always wanted to have a mini cooper, but it wouldn't be able to support the cargo we would take if going on an extended drive (i.e. the 110 lb puppy and luggage). The Hyundai Elantra Touring does just fine for us.
