A Manuscript from Texas, pardner?

Planet Stories®

Recovered secret unpublished manuscript of Robert E. Howard?

Or something from resident Michael Moorcock?

Or a younger author who's written a preface in the past?

I only ask because my big manuscript was inexplicably marked, "Return to Sender"...

Where are all the readers?

Yeah, I was wondering about that cryptic note also. I'd be surprised if it was REH though (even given Almuric has already been published).

I assume it ties in to the big announcement in the next week or so.

You'll have to hang on just a bit longer (not too much longer, though), but I think Planet Stories readers are going to love it. Sorry to be a tease! :-)

Just stirring the pot and fanning speculation.

My guess was one of the other ones...

Always heartily appreciated!

But when I win the guess, just have the author sign my copy for my prize. :D

Don't you know that you aren't allowed to be on Facebook without friending me?

Whoops. Going to correct now, Yoda. (I sometimes think I'm friends with people that I haven't actually added/or been added by.)

I'm hoping it's REH.

I'm saying Michael Moorcock is going to write the first novel set in Golarion.

I was reading the Paizo boards, I think it was a Planet Stories thread, I read a speculative post by Mairkurion, and then I j$%zed in my pants.

Definitely a Planet Stories book.

Vic just said in the chat that someone guessed correctly in this thread. I think it was me.

Where did you guess anything, Yoda?

On facebook. :-/

What? How can his initials be JRR?

I say I was half-right, and it's not Pf fiction, but a brand new MM for Planet Stories.

Could be the long lost fourth book in LotR? Just because it came from Texas doesn't mean it was written there. Perhaps it's the contents of Hemingway's stolen briefcase. We'll just have to wait and see.

Spoiler:
I agree that it's probably a new Moorcock book, perhaps even a continuation of the trilogy Planet Stories has already published.

Your spoiler idea sounds cool. I still don't have/haven't read those.

Hey, the fourth book of LotR isn't lost!

Right, it's called The Hobbit. :P

It's called The Ring Goes East.
