Oops, you or Amael get first choice, in fact I could probaly include both of you. If you or don't Amael want in I'll open it to any one.

I really want in then, how fast do you need me to step in. I do not like fighters for some reason, but I could be one if you need time to work a new guy into the story. I would want to play a swordmage if possible. If you dont want to mix your Faerun with your Eberron I can go with a different defender.

I'm running a strict Eberron game, nothing outside is allowed. Also the only races allowed are human, elf, dwarf, gnome, half-elf, half-orc, changlings, kalashtar, shifters, halflings and warforged.
The warforged is the party's only defender.

If you get in too and want to make a paladin, (i think you mentinoed they are your favorite before) I am ok with a second one in the group, some people get mad about having two of the same class in a group, but I dont mind if you dont. I am going 1h/shield route as well.

Shoot I'd just be happy to play :)
But no I wouldnt have a problem with that, I could make amore damage dealer-like paladin to compliment the group or
I could make a 1h/shield paladin to help out on defense as well.

Excellent!
Now - before I forget and decide to stick with a sorcerer of some kind - what do you all think about triple strikers? Good thing? Bad thing? Tell me to go away and cook up something else entirely?
I hardly ever play fighters (don't like them much), but it might almost be fun for a one-off battle if you all think we're sticky defender light.

Well I think an extra striker is always good, and as far
as stickiness goes, if we really need sticky I can make amore charisma based paladin with an emphasis on multimarking
abilities (I could prob scrounge up at least 3 powers that mark
in a 3 square effect) or I could stick with the str pal as well...
I say pick whichever class is more fun for you to play, Rosey :)

Play what you want. For one extended battle it's not going to be that big a deal. We'll either win or lose, hopefully that will be dependent on more than what role you play.

Exactly...and when in doubt, blame the Paladin...it's what he's there for.
