Liberty's Edge

Is this any good? My instincts say no, but I seem to remember someone telling me a while back that it was.

It’s on free to air on Friday night, I want to figure out if its worth setting the recorder for.

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

I own it on DVD... but then it does have Kari Wuhrer and a young Scarlett Johansson in it, so maybe that has something to do with it. ;)

But seriously. It's not too bad. It's one of those tongue in cheek monster movies that doesn't take itself seriously and is pretty fun to watch and have a laugh at. I enjoyed it.

Yah definitely good for a laugh. It's a modern classic in the B monster movie genre.

Incidentally, the first monster movie I think of in the "Doesn't take itself seriously and is pretty fun" category is Tremors. Gotta watch that again.

Liberty's Edge

Loved Tremors. Do have to watch that again.

Yeah Flash, I did notice Scarlett was in it. Mmmm Scarlett ...

Scarab Sages

This is indeed a funny movie! I enjoy watching it every chance I get. Sadly, I do not own a copy, mostly because my wife hates/is afraid of spiders, and I'd be afraid she would burn it.

The Exchange

The spiders were awesome. It is a fun "B" movie with above average special effects and if you are a giant spider fan you will mine the movie for ideas for D&D.
What channel and time? I'd love to see it again.

When this movie first came out I was in France, where they were advertising it as "Arach Attack!" I wish they'd stuck with that name.

I’m in Australia FH, so channel and time probably won’t help you much (I think its on Sydney Channel 9, about 12.30 Friday night / Saturday morning for anyone local who might want to catch it).

The Exchange

Its worth a laugh. The spiders were interesting. They got a good scene with someone being woven into a silk ball for later drinking. Like Frodo.

Yep. Lots of fun in the vein of Tremors or Slither - although not as good as either of those flicks.
