Huh. In my day, we wrote various outcomes on bones and tortoise shells, and threw them into the fire. The cracks indicated outcome. I guess my tribe invented randomized outcome: one giant leap for gamers.

Just because a DM optimizes his Fiat mechanically does not mean that they cannot also drive it around town.

...what, didn't someone order a Stormwind Fallacy?

and just before I was about to go to bed:

player power vs dm power-check

languages-check

fart lighting-check

godwin-check

stormwind-and check

Ok Ross or Gary, close it down...

Sorry, you forgot one.

PCs can't get magic stuff. This is why fighters can't have nice things.

There you go.

Nothing about useless thieves?

These people are so asleep at the wheel. I am disgusted.

Either that or they're too busy jotting down IP bans. :D

I did not edit any posts.

Odd. Maybe it was revised before you started cleaning up the detritus. I need to get my vision checked. :)

I'm thinking you mean the post that was before the post preceeding his. The same person put two posts, the first was edition trolling, the second was the one still remaining.

I didn't think the same person posted two consecutive posts. I must've lost two minutes of my time I'll never get back due to flashforwarding.

That's IT???? :)

I do that a lot.

What can I say? You threw me for a loop. :P

AUGH!

Yes and you should feel bad.

Punish him.

Maybe it's just the bad/non intuitive board design is dissuading them from going through something so long.

Because I think that something meaningful can be done about DM Fiat here are some motivational posters:

LOL - can you photoshop it on top of a railroad?

That's great! But the 2nd one should actually be blue if you can photoshop it that way. But I second the one about having a railroad involved. DOOO EEEEET!

DM Fiat: Used Correctly, it can make a bad game Fun.

Used Incorrectly, it can make a game Badwrongfun.

Das true. Getting ambushed at level 3 by 5 completely undetectable young adult chromatic dragons isn't fun Nate! It's not!

That's entirely dependent on whether or not they're zombie young adult zombie dragons and how many scrolls and preparations of Command Undead you have available.

Well, they can't be that impressive if they allowed themselves to become zombies in the first place. It's a job fit for CoDZilla! Rawr!

No! Don't rekill the unliving zombies! They make totally badass mounts.
