Hi, sorry if this has come up before, I'm new. I know Paizo already has a full plate running so many subscriptions, but I was wondering if any official mention of doing some Pathfinder novels in the future has been made. Paizo's so strong in the story department, and there's so much rich material in Golarion. It'd be nice to have some intelligent, mature, well written fantasy novels for a change. I know I'd buy it.

Erik Mona just posted this little tidbit about an hour or so ago in a thread in the CoT forum:
How fiction will impact the continuity of the setting is a valid concern, and one that we strongly share. The plan is to focus on smaller stories that don't "blow up the world." You can have a novel that involves great personal impact to a character, or a town, or what have you without killing gods or nuking a major country.Or at least we think you can, and will be putting it to the test shortly.

"Historical" stories on a grander, more epic scale could be done as well. Stores that show how Golarion arrived at where it is in the Campaign Setting.
Plus I won't care if there's no plotline at all if there is a Seoni/Merisiel/Amiri love triangle. With maybe a bit of Lini in there to make it a quadrilateral.
