By the way, for anyone who wants to try out Kobold Quarterly, they're offering issue #10 for free. Go to the KQ Store and use KQ10Free to score your issue. It's a good magazine, so check it out!

This is an unpaid advertisement. Please drink responsibly. Tax and title not included.

Heh. I'm a Subscriber and I got that e-mail too. Only 11 was my last issue and they had to go and put an ad up for Issue 12 in the back saying ther'll be variant Tengu in it. Now I must have it. I loves me them Tengu! I soooooooooo wanna play one! :D

I just proofread my son's paper and I have to wonder if all 6th graders write so poorly, or if it is just him.

You a not the first to make that joke. The answer is no, although I dd give it Glitterdust as a spell-lik ability after Set made that joke.

*sigh* 45 minutes at the grinder and I'm already up to my d20 in paperwork. Damn these last minute requests(read: demands).

That seems like a worse choice than the Rolling Stones in my opinion.

We need more "wardrobe malfunctions" in the halftime show, preferably with someone like, um, Taylor Swift.

Taylor's cute, but I've never looked at her that way. She's still a kid to me. Shame on you. She could almost be your daughter. :P

I was thinking more Black Eyed Peas with Fergie having a wardrobe malfunction.

Dude... have you ever watched the first episode of Californication with Madeline Zima? Damn she is fine and has an awesome rack but all I could think about while I was watching her ride Fox Mulder was about poor little Gracie from The Nanny... :/

Yeah, I used to work at a place where we had one supervisor who would always wait intil the end of the shift to start up machines, a long and messy process, and then demand that we all stay late to clean up the mess.

That's alright... I've seen it twice now and also New Moon, so I've lost way more of my life (plus I've also seen Battlefield Earth so that counts double...)

I take it Battlefeld Earth is as bad as everyone makes it out to be? I've been avoiding it for so long.

Count me as another who enjoyed the film. Not one of Burton's best, but I can sit and watch it if it's playing on the tube.

So have I. I caught the tail end on Syfy once and that was enough for me.

...which reminds me, I need to get to watching the Caprica pilot.

We're trying to cut back our expenses here at home, so we're on the hunt for another provider that will offer a good discount on a cable/internet/phone/dvr bundle. I've been busily unsubscribing and resubscrbing newsletters to a different e-mail address -- which is weird to me because I've had this one for close to 15 years.

Friend, let me tell you a story.

In college, I worked for the school paper, and got free tickets for this supposed blockbuster. I had two groups of friends that I had been trying to get to mingle for years on top years. This movie seemed like an excellent opportunity. We all sat together, and everyone was initally quite thankful for the free tickets(being broke college students and all).

Then, the movie happened.

People who I was afraid wouldn't get along with each other..well, didn't. They all stayed in their comfort zones talking to people they already knew- quite loudly, a pet peeve of mine- and my attempts to get people to at least tone down the audience participation came to naught. People walked out, glaring at me all the while, and at the end of the evening, people who did not know each other associated their first meeting with this movie and as a result many would not see each other again of their own volition until my wedding several years later.

Goddamn this piece of crap "cinema".

Thank you for the anti-nostalgia trip. I'll be sure to throw it in the kindling fire, then.

Flash, The promotion may or may not happen. The big boss is comming into town this weekend to look for a new location for our third store. But of course he has been here before and has said all this before. So I ain't holding my breath. The substitute thing I can do at any time after I find out my grades and if/when I pass I get my diploma. Here you have to have 60 credit hours to sub, which I now should have. :)

Yeah Battle field is the worst movie made with some of the best actors around. Sad really. In a very uncomfortable way.

Her music is so cute and happy. It makes me wanna dance. And she is adorable! :)

Sorry you get picked on though.

Dumb question - how do you work it out when subbing and running the store simultaneously? I know for reference purposes, any contacts will basically be vague as to whom/what you're working for, but all it takes for one person to slip up by saying something w/o thinking about it and boom! School Boards are funny like that.

Flash, so when you said you were coping it wasn't anything bad just meh. I just wanted to make sure. When are the kids home.

She's cute, I'll admit. I just like my women with a little more meat / curves on 'em. I look at Taylor and think to myself, I would easily break her. :P

For my references the jo app will have the stores real name...12th st gifts, and my boss's cell number. He and I have already talked this out. And the store is listed as a retail store legally since less than 15 percent of our stock is novelty. :)

It's raining so hard I expect undead Aquaman to show up any second now and start ripping hearts out of chests.

Sounds almost like a Waterbeds & Stuff store chain we have out here in Columbus, now that I think about it as you put it that way.

:D Awww, well you made me smile. I can be somewhat shallow when it comes to my taste in women, I like girls who are thinner and blonde...for the most part.

Maybe undead Prince Namor can tag-team with him on this venture.

I've never dated a true blonde. Bleached blonde, but not true. Nothing against 'em; it's just the way things roll based on who was prowlin' for me at the time. :P

Yes. Be careful who you pal around with in the teaching gig. I may be stereotyping, but I find the majority of women to be quite catty.

We are, almost all women can be catty. The only ones who know are the principal and kellen's resource teacher, and teh principal was the one to offer me the subbing position and to do my student teaching there. :)

Speaking of movies, I saw Wolverine, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Ghost Rider this weekend and surprisingly, Wolverine was the only one I didn't like too much. Thoughts?
