Food for ToTP!

Dark Archive

Another earthquake in Haiti. Those poor people can't catch a break.

Dark Archive

I have thought about voluntering to go down there and help out. I may not be able to do much but I can haul rubble and hand out food as good as the next man. I just don't know where to volunteer.

6.0, yes? Awful. Natural disasters really don't know when they've overplayed their hand.

Someone should talk to the high lord of nature about that.

after first was done, went home since I have a 3 hour break till my next class. Decided to email my instructors for the remainder of my classes and inform them that I wasn't going to make it. the bus stop is only about 3/10 of a mile down, and covered in ice, I nearly fell down several times just getting back to my apartment.

Good morning!

I just gave blood, and the past couple of days have been excruciatingly busy, which means no activity on the boards for me. Ugh.

I've got to look at the top 32 items (I wish someone from our group would have made it in, but alas) and catch up on this thread. I dread to see how many posts I'm behind on. I'll probably end up catching up tonight.

I hope you all are doing well. I guess I'll find out when I get caught up. :)

Back later.

Edit: Only 5 pages--not too bad.

That is when you know the weather is bad, when frost giants start slipping.

Looks like I missed a good flame war last night.

I wish people would stop giving Dingo any attention, he's clearly just a troll who likes to start fights, I can't remember the last thread that he contributed anything noteworthy in. All he does these days is post flamebait.

OH yah, I saw that last night. Not gonna touch that with a 39 1/2-foot pole

Spoiler:
They're FREAKING SUFFERING HUMAN BEINGS! Not political footballs! Pretty disgusted with both sides of the aisle on this one

CJ ... watch the name calling

EDIT: Didn't mean to sound like a hall monitor, I just don't want to attract him over here :)

Calling it a flame war would be an understatement. Man, that got downright nasty.

Silver Crusade

It was definitely one of the shorter-lived threads I've seen.

Wow, it got nuked too, not just locked huh?

EDIT: Nvm I found it. Sheesh

Dark Archive

Wow, just wow. I take it the OP and the second guy who posted have a history?

Yep. Check <redacted> posts. Many of them deal with him and <redacted>.

Guys, no offense, but we really shouldn't name names. Names have power and I don't want to summon Yeenoghu or his foe there...

If my evil twin is saying it got ugly, then it must have gotten OOGLAY. I don't know how an earthquake far off from many of us on the board could turn us into snarling beasts, but it's an emotional time for many. I have VERY VERY distant family there, and I cannot imagine their suffering.

I make it a point not to post in any thread he starts. It just doesn't seem worth the headache.

Dark Archive

So, just out of curiosity, did he ever not yell at anyone? I only saw one post like that and it was answering a question of mine about why the serve macaroni salad at lualus.

Aside from the random Commonwealth joke, I have too.

The other guy who first responded to the stray dog.

Oh.

Hm... I've never him before today.

Dark Archive

Yeah, I didn't recognize the name either, even though we had obviously crossed paths before. Of course I had forgotten about the macaroni salad thread as well.

Samer here. I think that's the first time I've seen him in the Off Topics section.

Mmmmm....macaroni salad

Well, obviously a lot of backstory on that hate-on fer shure. Sad they had to use a tragedy like that to whack at each other.
