I only have three players as of right now. The one has memory problems and since we were switching to a new day and time, it may have confused him. The one player that showed up is going to try and get some of the players from the group he DMs to come and join us.
Good luck trying to get more involved. Some locations are brimming with extras to participate and some areas are basically where beggars can't be choosers for their participants.

The latter is where I am at. Most of what gets played around here is M:tG with a smattering of 4E. In fact the only shop in town that sells rpg stuff only sells 4E, so it makes it tough to attract new players.

I think Borders has discontinued its 40% coupon. :(

And Barnes & Noble has been cutting back their 10%, 20%, etc. coupons on top of the regular 10% (or 20% for hard covers). I tend to go here to track updated coupons and the Borders / Barnes & Noble hasn't been what I'd hope to be.

A friend of mine brought this to my attention. Tell me that isn't Merisiel on the cover? Other than the eyes of course.

Borders was the best deal for minis with the 40% coupon. I may have to go back to doing business with buy.com, but that has limited applications with visible minis.

This was a part of my worry when Paizo went with the same cover artist as 4e.

Aaaaugh! Er, sorry, nothing really to do with what you were saying except insomuch as it referred to the hated minis. I spent my weekend sorting minis for putting up for sale on ebay and matching them all to their cards. :/

You're selling minis? <raises eyebrows>

Well, it looks like it's that time. Must head out to go to therapy. Be back later.

Yes, lots of them. I'll post links as soon as I've got the blasted things put up on ebay.

I always liked travertine. There are some travertine walls on the SMU campus, which surprisingly works okay with the Georgian architecture.

It makes my skin crawl, but so does anything with lots of small holes, like sponges or a hunk of swiss cheese (especially lorraine, with its tiny holes). It's inexplicable.

Edit: I also feel like those little pockets hold decades worth of filth. I guarantee you no one cleans inside them.

I like it when there's shells and things stuck in the stone. And thanks for that wonderful glimpse into your psyche! Muhahahaha!

Lynora, I hate to think of the burden of ebay. Let me know when you need my address to divest yourself of this onerous undertaking.

Ah, but shipping charges to my humble hometown will be much more affordable. It is the least I can do. E-Bay is purely unnecessary.

I'll be glad to defray the difference in shipping costs. I'd hate to see Urizen burdened by this as well. I have very broad shoulders.

Oh, but you are much too kind, sir. A true gentleman, really. I have an uncle who lives in Ypsilanti which is essentially right next door to Ann Arbor. I can dispatch him to pick them up on my behalf. It would truely be no trouble, no trouble at all. Just put them all in a container and leave it by the doorstep. It will be quick and painless. For all of us.

Most of the time the games on FB are doen by my lovely wife. I choose to do the CastleAge app and yet when my wife is on my login and I get a request from Flash to go attack a sea serpent, who attacks it, my wife.

I knew I was forgetting something.

I like it. Is a +1 to CMD enough though?

That's what a Large creature gets.

I don't have everything memorized yet however if that is all a Large creature gets then it is just fine. I always liked that powerful build concept and will use it in my games. I have often thought that one of the things a Half-Orc should have gotten.

I know your wife has her own login; let her save the killing blows for you and get her own app account. :P My lady would snap my fingers if I dare meddle with her Mafia Wars.

Hello CJ, Urizen, Taig, and everyone else. :)

I love grocery shopping! They were having a 50% off sale on the sirlion tip roasts, I bought 4 and had them grind them. Heck of a lot cheaper then buying ground beef at 4$ a lb!
Also grabbed a bunch of fruit tht was on sale and made fruit salad for lunch. :)

Somebody obnoxious go into the 3pp thread and ask LPJ, Who are you again?

What do you guys think of my rewrite of Powerful Bld?

Powerful Build: Becuase of their ancestry, half-ogres function in many ways as if they were one size catagory larger. They gain a +1 bonus to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense. They also count as Large creatures when determining whether special attacks, such as Improved Grab or Swallow Whole, can effect thim. However, they cannot use weapons for designed for Large creatures, as they find them awkward and unweildy to use.
What's the reach and movement?

Found it. We jumped to the next page before I saw it. Reach and movement remain the same as for a Medium creature.

Hmmm.... Maybe if Powerful build had a stacking like ability where if you can take the feat again, you get this extra ability. Kinda like what Monte does with his boost features in his BOXM toolkit. (?)
