*snif* Why is everyone leaving me?

"It's not you, it's us."

;)

I'm just lurking in the background while actually trying to be productive for the employers.

I need a new way of waking the boy up. I think he was born sleeping.

morning. *grumble*

Set off the smoke alarm or douse him with a bucket of water.

Dr. Urizen is prescribing you a pot of coffee.

Mine can't brew fast enough.

Would you guys still drink coffee if it were decaffinated? Just curious. I abhor the taste no matter how it is offered.

appearo

Yeah, I drink decaf at night time. It's one of my favorite flavor families, like red wine, chocolate, beer...

Dark Archive

I can't speak for coffee, but I would still drink Pepsi and Mountain Dew if it was caffine free.

I've been up since 5:30 local time. Fun to start of classes, till the end of the semester I start every week with calculus. oh btw 1 class down 2 more to go for today, essentially a composition class, and fundamentals of Public speaking

Caffeine free Mt. Dew is heresy. Madness!

And what's the point of nonalcoholic beer? I mean, who really drinks that stuff without the potency. Can't be because of the taste, right?

Dobedobedowa, dobedobedowa....

non-alcoholic beer are all american pilsners, which are disgusting

Speaking of, how was your campaign the other day? Any TPKs?

I think the only time I got myself to drink a beer / lager was to chug a Guiness. You drop a shot of dr pepper into it and begin chugging -- it has an uncanny taste like chocolate milk. Not sure why, though.

Next time, have a Guinness stout. Or better yet, a Young's. Or a Young's Chocolate Stout. Hold the DP.

+1

I dislike most American beers, most of the ones I can handle are of the dark variety (Guinness, Shiner Bavarian Black) someone point me toward some good beer. Hmmm, maybe that's why I drink spirits instead

Sam Adams makes some good beers.

You sure? I pretty much detest the taste of practically all beers and lagers. I'd hate to think I wasted my money if I turn my nose on the first sip. *shrug* But I can drink Bacardi 151 without thinking. Well ... maybe not as tolerant as I was prior two years ago, but still.

Good morning Post, and how is everyone today?

Yeah, I hate most beer too, but even I like a good chocolate stout. It's a totally different flavor, more akin to coffee than beer.

No good. I can't afford to take a nap, and with as little as I slept last night I can't risk being that sleepy.

There are people who inexplicably dislike good beer. It's God's way of conserving limited supply.

Don't care for coffee either. Mocha (sic) as well. If it really tasted like chocolate, then I'd be giving it a try.

Yes, and have done so. Decaf is still better than no coffee. And has the advantage of not making me sleepy. The flavor isn't as good, but sometimes the benefits outweigh that drawback.

What about those 5 hour energy shots? Gets me moving!

When I used to drink beer, I always drank Budweiser. I like Budweiser. I don't mind an occasional Sam Adams or a Shinerbock, but the complexities are lost on me, and why pay the extra dough if you really can't tell the difference?

Of course, now I hardly drink (haven't had anything alcoholic for ... 15 months now? Something like that?)and save my cash for other things.

<shudder>

I've tried them. As it turns out, my stomach has absolute fits if I shock it with that many B vitamins. One of those things gives me horrible stomachache for the next 24-48 hours after I drink it. I'm pretty well out of luck when it comes to stuff that can wake me up or keep me awake since stimulants are calming for me. Then again, given my natural hyperactivity, I'm not sure the world could handle me being any more energetic than I normally am anyways. :P

Only one player showed and he had to roll up a character. Hoping for better results come this Friday.

Well, whatever you're taking to be hyperactive, pass some over here. Sometimes I'm just dragging way too much ass to be motivated. Or maybe I'm just lazy. :P

Then again, not all that stuff should be done on an empty stomach or that type of reaction is going to happen. Not all of them are as jacked with B12 as 5 Hour Energy is ... but given that it's not packing calories or sugars like a regular energy drink, I find it to be more agreeable over the long haul.

One player!?! I know one had his mother passed away. How many others didn't appear? Do they do this on short notice or do you know beforehand?

I only have three players as of right now. The one has memory problems and since we were switching to a new day and time, it may have confused him. The one player that showed up is going to try and get some of the players from the group he DMs to come and join us.

I've tried more than one of them, always to the same effect, alas. As for what I'm taking, absolutely nothing other than an antidepressant to let me sleep and caffeine as needed to keep me calm and focused as ritalin doesn't play nice with my antidepressant. It's just my naturally fracked up brain chemistry. There's a reason why they put that H in ADHD. :P

Good luck trying to get more involved. Some locations are brimming with extras to participate and some areas are basically where beggars can't be choosers for their participants.

What do you guys think of my rewrite of Powerful Build?

A lot of antidepressants actually keep me awake... no scratch that, they make me sleepy as the day wears on, but I sleep very short and then wake up too damn early. Who in their right mind is wanting to wake up @ 5:30 on a weekend where they don't have to go to work or have kids to deal with?

What's the reach and movement?

I think Borders has discontinued its 40% coupon. :(
