Nyah! Your parlor tricks are full of fail.

Okay, Sharoth. You've complied with my demands. Your hoard is safe from me. For now.

~innocent look~ Who, me?

I haven't casted baleful polymorph yet, so yes, you! You must pledge your committment to the Pathfinder Modern experiment. Don't make me have Taig sockpuppet you.

<jedi mind trick>

And while you're there, you're also pledging for Fryer, Curtin, and Orthos.

</jedi mind trick>

~ponders~

Yes, I will pledge my commitment. You've shown me the error of my ways.

I keep misjudging the climate zone of Kansas. I thought it was like Nebraska, but warmer and Children of the Wheat instead of the Corn. I should travel more.

As a former resident of both states, I can assure you they both suck equally. :)

We have the most meterologists here in kansas then anywhere else save perhaps florida. Why? the weather changes so much this is a great place to train them.

~sigh~

Yep. It was while I lived in Kansas that the temperature dropped from 90 degrees to 40 in the span of 6 hours.

Not so fast ... if Nebraska gets Medicare coverage at 100% for perpetuity, I may have to reconsider my job career path. ;)

Actually, I rather liked living in Omaha, but my perspective was different than when I lived in Wichita. As a teenager, especially after moving around to other cool places as an Air Force brat, Wichita was very boring. You could, um, go to the mall or tip cows.

My first full duty assignment was at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, and I liked living there. There still wasn't a great deal to do in town, but we weren't too far from KC, Chicago, Minneapolis, or Denver. My wife and I even went to see a couple of Cornhusker football games, which back in the early 90's was an experience.

RPG Superstar 2012

Gonna go watch a movie with the family. Back later.

Did you serve your term and then moved on? My old man stayed a reservist up until forced retirement age. Talking about airplanes is like 900 pr0n #s for him. :P

I imagine it has. I left Wichita in 1985, just before my senior year of high school.

I was in for 8 years, and I decided I didn't want to move my family around, so I separated.

Rorschach

Spoiler:

I did not want to post on that thread anymore and just have to get this off my chest.

Delusion is not the only form of insanity.

Rorschach was delusional. He had a very big one at the begining of his life. His dad. His only known name is "charlie" As far as Rorshchach is concerned he is " working for the government" which is why he had to leave his prostiture mom.

And if that doesnt count for you try this:

Literary framework.

The book opens on rorschachs journal. His journal provides the framework for the story.

Now follow me on this one. If the framework for the story is the journal, and the journal shows us the world from rorschachs eyes. Then anything written in the story upto and including his matyrdom is in fact written by rorschach.

ahh much better now....you shouldnt read it.

CJ?!

Am I supposed to read the graphic novel or watch the movie to actually understand what's going on in its proper context? I was just really bummed we weren't talking about the test itself. When I am shown them, I see.

The shrink thought I was getting fresh with her. I told her that wasn't the case. I did tell her she had an outstanding vintage collection.

She showed me the door. <shakes fist>

Hey TAD, I know you're waiting on your HEMI powered new computer in January, but with your frequent usage on your mom's laptop, why not get your PbP rollin'?

Urizen wrote:

Because all my notes are on my computer and I don't want to risk booting it up unless absolutely necessary.

EDIT: I just checked my email and the new computer has shipped. It should be arriving by the 31st. When it does get here I'll be off the net for 3 days to reset/change my ip.

Wait, are you referring to the pbp I think you're referring to? EDIT: Oh well. A few more weeks won't kill me, after all.
