I had the same thought...Original Kolchak = full of win. New one, I'm not so sure about.

Never saw the new one but Darren McGavin was awesome in the original! I remember being so scared by the Headless Biker...

I happen to like the show. It sucks that it got cancelled but I like the cast and the writing.
