Okay, so I'm a negative channeling Cleric of Norgorber ... but once you get to know me, I'm really just short and cute!
Really, there's no need for concern, I Selectively Channel around my friends ... you want to be my friend, don't you?
But what I need to know, is I now have access to Alignment Channeling and Elemental Channeling feats, am I required to Heal Outsiders and Elementals because I'm a negative channeler? Or can I set Alignment Channeling and Elemental Channeling feats to Harm Outsiders and Elementals when I take those feats?
I mean, Command Undead is great when you need a few friends, but those otherworldly things, they're just distasteful and don't make good company.
The feats in the Core Rulebook seem a bit vague on this, is this possible or not?

The feats state that you can heal *or* harm outsiders of your chosen alignment type or elementals of your chosen element, but must choose when you perform the channeling.
It seems unlikely that the text would mention having to make this choice if you were limited to only healing or harming those entities.
Once you've selected the Feat to affect (for instance) Evil outsiders or Fire elementals, you can choose each time you channel energy whether or not to heal or harm those specific creatures.
There is nothing I've seen specifying whether or not you can choose to affect living/undead creatures as well with these uses of Channel Energy, but I'm expecting not. (Although it could be neat for a negative energy channeler to be able to heal his summoned fiendish allies *and* his undead minions with a single channeling...)
