I'm thinking of running a play by post, set in Magnimar.
The players are all sent letters by esteemed retired Pathfinder, Gesrio Temern, a Taldan man who left Absalom and retired after he was decried as a paranoid.
He beleives that a darkness is falling over Magnimar with ties to the appearance of a new drug, shadowveil.
I have whipped up four campaign traits for players who want to play in this game, not neccesary, but as options.
Favored Grandchild
You have always been close to your grandfather Gesrio, and enthralled by his stories and adventures. Now that you are a grown adult, and adventurer yourself, you seek to follow in his illustrious footsteps.
+1 on Diplomacy and Knowledge (history), always class skills for you.
Pathfinder Initiate
You are a young Pathfinder, and before retiring, Gesrio noted your promise and potential.
Wayfinder for free.
Shadowed Legacy
Someone close to you has been caught up in addiction to shadowveil, and trying to aid them and watching their suffering has hardened your resolve.
+1 on Will saves.
Oppose the Dark
You have long opposed the cult of Zon-Kuthon in all its forms and influences, and this opposition has become a major part of your life.
+1 trait bonus to confirm critical hits against followers of Zon-Kuthon.
The game will begin at 2nd level, with standard wealth, 20 point point-buy, and core PFRPG rules, aswell as Traits, of which you get two and any of the feats or alternate class features from the Campaign Setting. Ask about them for the converted versions to be used in my game.
Hopefully I get some interest, I would ask that anyone interested be able to post at least once a week-day, though of course faster is better and I'm online regularily enough so that the players will set the pace.

Re: Equipment:
1)Will you keep track of things like rations, or - since the adventure is taking place in a major city - can we assume a cost-of-living arrangement for food/water/lodging most of the time and not have to worry about a backpack with rations/waterskin/bedroll?
2) Also, should we start w/ Level 2 equipment per the "Table: Character Wealth by Level"? If so, I will adjust equipment.

@Jason: I'll give everyone average upkeep for free for the first month. See pg. 405 in the Core Rulebook. Assume it covers lodgings in an average inn.
And yes, use the wealth from the character wealth per level chart.

Oh, I'll post with an alias, if everyone could have their character sheets in that format or close, just for easy readability for me.

Character Sheet.
You don't need to include the Tactics section, that's just so that the GM can decide your actions in combat if your posts are few and far between. To speed up the game.

Here it is. Shaan Hawkeyes, ranger with the archery combat style.
I still need to work on the equipment, description and background but that should do for the time being. To let you know and if it helps, I intend to take at least one level of rogue next level.
A few questions leftover. What about HP : do we roll or do we take half+1 ? And if we roll, how do I proceed ?
Second and last question : I want to take the Shadow Child trait from CoT Players' Guide. This could be adapted to natives of Magnimar Shade district.
Shadow Child
Westcrown has long suffered under a peculiar curse, a blight that rises every night, bringing with it fell beasts that hunt the shadows. No one can say from whence these night-horrors come—though some blame the mysterious wizards of Nidal, other claim that it’s some curse laid by fallen Aroden, while still others suggest some shadowy mastermind manipulates an ebon brood from the depths of Westcrown’s northern ruins. Whatever the case, the people of Westcrown have long feared the night, but not you. You’re goal is to reclaim the darkness from the beasts that hide within. You’ve acclimated yourself to the dark, and thus act with greater precision in the shadow than most. When attacking targets in areas of dim light, you do not suffer the standard 20% miss chance on attack rolls for being in the poorly lit area.
