Liandra fires her crossbow at the keep guard as he flees up the stairs. As he turns a corner in the stairs, he looks down in astonishment at Liandra just in time to get a bolt through the neck. He continues to move out of sight and Liandra does not think that was forward momentum as he had been spinning around the corner.
Galadar sees that the 4-inch-thick doors can be locked and barred. They seem pretty solid.
Knotty notices the T-shaped entrance hall is decorated by two tapestries of crows with black gemstones for eyes -- one with a white background, the other with a crimson background.
Hru and Eria can join them in the entrance hall any time.

Once all the companions are in, I bar the door and then attempt to lock it.
"The doors won't stay closed for long," I say, "Liandra is trying top stop the guard that went to warn the Baron. We need to see about moving quickly after her. And find out if he went upstairs or downstairs."
"Now that the whole courtyard is on the alert, we can expect heavy opposition. I'm afraid that what was a mission of stealth now must be one of speed."
I try not to glare at Knotty too fiercely.

Liandra warily creeps up the stairs to ensure the guard's death.
The guard has managed to drag himself down a long hallway. He's pounding on a door. Liandra can hear voices demanding an explanation for the interruption but the crossbow bolt in the throat is making it difficult for the guard to answer.

He points his wand at the top of the doorway and sprays green and white webbing all down the door. Soon the area is filled with spidersilk.
With a nod of satisfaction, Knotty turns back to see what's next.

I've always thought of TWF as applying to melee only, not ranged attacks. Thoughts? In the end, it won't make a difference for the attack on the baron.
Bumpo manages to avoid choking up the potion he was drinking as he Liandra slashes him. He disappears as well. She can hear him whimpering though and knows he, at least, is still in the room. She hears nothing from the baron.
The guard Liandra wounded is crawling down the hall, hoping Liandra ignores him just as he ignored her when she moved by him into the room to attack Bumpo.
