Does a specialist wizard who takes divination as a prohibited school still have read magic in his spellbook. As well as being able to cast it from memory?
Brian
Spellbooks: A wizard must study his spellbook each day to prepare his spells. He cannot prepare any spell not recorded in his spellbook, except for read magic, which all wizards can prepare from memory.
A wizard begins play with a spellbook containing all 0-level wizard spells (except those from his prohibited schools, if any; see Arcane Schools)

The only thing that says you can is under the Spellbook section of the wizard class it states that all wizards can prepare read magic from memory. That would say you can take it. It also sorta implies you have to take it. I think Read magic should be listed under universal instead of divination.
