According to the store these two books won't be released until October. I thought that they where originally slated for an early September release? Why the slippage?
Actually, Seekers of Secrets was supposed to be a June release and Princes of Darkness was supposed to be an August release.
As to why they slipped, there was a whole cacophony of reasons, but the biggest reason is the fact that we are publishing around 1000 pages of RPG product in the Pathfinder Core Rulebook and Pathfinder Bestiary that we normally don't publish and when you put that on top of our schedule along with the already heavy workload, add in a dose of Paizocon and GenCon and then a dollop of office move, and you have two products that slipped—in some cases pretty darn badly. However, what I told the guys is that I would rather have a late product that is 100% totally awesome than an on-time product that feels that it was rushed out the door. To paraphrase the old Paul Mason commercial "we will sell no RPG product before its time!"
The good news is that both of these books are at the printer, so any further slippage will be due to things outside our control like shipping and US customs, which, thankfully, rarely happen.

All I can say after seeing the release schedule for October and November is that I'm glad I get leftovers from Thanksgiving ::laughing::

True true... I'd be struggling myself if not for my bonuses at work and weekly food left overs from my Tuesday night game. *Sniff* I love my gamers.

My players are amazing. They've all contributed to the Pathfinder fund. Each one has donated or flat out bought the books for the Chronicles Campaign setting that I want/need. We're just excited that it's a new release, most of our old stuff is still viable and with exception useable(I'm the GM and have final say).

This is why you get to help yourself to money from my account whenever you have something ready to ship. I just wish I could stretch to a couple more subscriptions.
