No, real life hands people lemons, is all. Poor Sesinia/Celestial obviously ran into problems in Real Life, just as the previous two players and now Azral. Heck, there were a few times when I thought my Life had thrown me enough of a spanner to not give me time or place to keep following.
I've joined a couple of games that never even made it out of the OOC Discussion thread. :P So don't feel too bad about people dropping. We just keep on our way to the shin dig and it allows us to meet new players/characters.
Now, if Lordzack has been taken out? Then we're without a DM and that would kind of make us a free floating group pf players. Still, that makes us a recourse to be in a good position to actually attract/recruit a new DM (Just throwing a hypothetical, am really wishing you ll the best DM. :) )
SO! Again, we should A) Give Celestial/Sesinina the benefit of their Real Life getting in the way of their fun and B) Go and recruit fro maybe two new/other players (Also asking for a Cleric :P) to join in. There are more than enough people always seeking a game. To have a game and let it go to waste?
Am I over positive? Don't know, but dammnit if I will go down with out a fight! They may take our what's its, but they can never take our FREEGAME! (Paints face blue and wishes they had a Scottish accent..and maybe a tail...:P)

You arrive at the inn where the party is taking place. There are many guests here already, including various clergy and lay members of the Cult, elves, envoys from the capital, and of course the Band of Fire themselves. In addition to Karlee, whom you've already met there is the high priest of the Fire Cult, Gilhim, a curly-haired man who is wearing a brightly-colored courtier's outfit with mostly reds and yellows, his enforcer the mysterious Liroy, who is wearing a cloak that conceals his features, and the elven sisters Alusia and Athara who are both wearing simple elven garb.
Karlee says "Hey, welcome to the party guys! I see you've met Azral.". Then Gilhim says in a gravely, but friendly voice, "So, you're the adventurers Karlee was talking about! I wish you luck in you're battles against the kobolds!"

But never t' mind, yer here now. ^_^ Meby go back an' read up on whut we's done so far? (Which in't kind o' a lot, *V_V*) an' here's t' hopin' our DM, LordZack, gets back t' ye quick rightly about whut's t' be expectin' of a potential new adventurin' companion. I already know whut Gandel's suggestion's are gonna be. :P. Cheery-O! (^_^)

Um, whut's happenin'? Really, a browse through the past posts would be th' best way t' learn what's happened. Short summary is: There's a town, they's have a little bit of a monster problem. Group of fighters is about, they's just a tad short handed atm. So, some one t' bolster their cause is whut they be lookin' for. ^_^

Suny stands before this newcomer, a happy and warm smile upon her lips and a twinkle of some mischief in her large blue eyes.
Um. should we all have a raise of hands, as it were, t' be seein' who's still with us? Gandel luv, you still about? Thorn's still helpin' carry th' thread, how's Celestial goin'? Aye, an' that might be a problem. Two players with th' same avatar picture. Guess folks'll have t' be carful to who they're replyin' too. (^_~)

Ash looked up in some surprise from her meal, managing a welcoming smile. Her pretty, very pale, thin face, framed by long white hair with faint silver highlights, didn't look like it often smiled and the expression lifted some of the thoughtful melancholy out of her large violet-grey eyes.

"Well met, Elanesadriell. I suppose you are one of the adventurers who are going to help with the kobold problem?"
Ash nudged the pack that rested beneath her chair with her foot to make sure it was still there. She hoped she might get to join up with the adventurers, she had heard that they needed a healer.

Seeing Suny speaking to a beautiful white-haired elf maiden, Gandel approaches, snagging three champagne flutes from a passing server and presenting one to each woman while keeping one for himself.
"Shade and sweet water," the blond-haired gnome greets in Elvish as he sweeps a rakish bow without spilling a drop of his drink. "My name is Gandelplot Trapspringer," he continues in the Common tongue, "but you can call me Gandel. I'm a friend of fair Suny's here. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lady...?"

"Ash Jathal," the cleric says politely, accepting a drink. "You may call me Ash. I assume you are part of the adventuring group that was seeking a healer?" She taps the holy symbol she wears over her plain light grey robes. "I'm was hoping to join you. I don't have much else to do." Ash grins wryly and takes a sip of champagne. Much better than stale water, she thinks.

Sorry for not posting for the last few days. I was indisposed and not able to get to a computer. I am better now and would certainly accept another character. I'll have to see some stats however. I'd like to get back to the adventure proper soon, so perhaps we could fast forward through the party a bit after Yucale gets done introducing her character.

Um, C'n I suggest Yucal also adjust their Avatar an' name an' such? *^_^* Sorry fer bein' such a seemin' pain...but...
Also, sorry t' th' DM fer draggin' th' new player in so soon, but like ye said, t'is best t' be gettin' back t' th' Ko-boileys sooner rather than later, though shouldn't we be givin' others a chance t' be joinin', or is th' three of us enough? I know of another thread where there's folks now lookin' fer a game. Maybe we could drop 'em a line an' see if they want t' be hookin' up?

I already posted Ash's stats in the recruitment thread. So I make a new "alias" for this adventure? 'K
"I'm a cleric of Healing and Repose, so I can fill in the healer spot. I'm ready to leave as soon as you and your group is, if you'll have me," she continued, putting her drink down.
'Think that's good for an introduction.

Gilhim gets up and grabs a scroll case from the table.
"You should find this useful if you encounter the dragon that inhabits the ruins. This scroll has three castings of a spell for protecting against acid. His lair is near the kobolds, but off the main hallway. If you run into a dart trap, the next room is the dragon's. I suggest you hold off attacking him until you're ready."
He hands the scroll case to Suny.

Suny's hands cup the scroll that's been handed to her, though her gaze is more startled and alarmed at hearing the words Gilhim has said.
"Dragon...after dart trap..." She mumbles, possibly sounding as if in shock, or going into a state of something similar.

"DRAGON! Did he say DRAGON?!" the startled gnome exclaims, his eyes widening in horror. "Why do these Fire Cult people keep talking about a DRAGON down there with those kobolds?! Is there really a DRAGON?"
"Oh, sorry!" Gandel says to Thorn, although this time the gnome is too perplexed to try to wipe off the offending liquid.
