"Worse comes t' worst? We c'n just all run an' drag th' lil minx out with us, hey?" (^.~) She looks to where Thorn lies, bloodied and banged up,
"Nay, luv. Ye in't in a state t' be tuslin' with other critters here aboots. Asides, there's no survivors t' teel as t' whut's happened. We scamper back t' get ye fixed up an' then do our best t' sneak back in agin. Asides, just how attentive are these Ko-boily things any who? Gandel heads over to the other side and checks the bodies. For the most part they have the same equipment as the others, spears and leather armor, except have crossbow instead of slings. The leader has a chain shirt and a greataxe. Between them they have 30 silver. They also have some caltrops, it looks like the last one was trying to drop some when he died.

"Hey gals," Gandel calls across the pit again in a loud whisper, "I doubt this kob wearing the chain shirt is the chieftain, but do we want to take his head back to town anyway? Oh, yeah, I didn't find the Duke's son's signet ring on any of these blighters, either."
Gandel gathers up the crossbows, bolts, greataxe, chain shirt, caltrops, and silver pieces as best he can. If the others want the kobold's head, Gandel will set about the task with grim determination, and gather up the grisly trophy as well. Then he collects his grappling hook and rope, jumps back down into the pit (using the Acrobatics check in my previous post), and climbs up to the others using Sesinia's rope (using the Climb check in my previous post).
The nimble rogue hisses in sympathetic pain when he sees Thorn's grievously wounded condition. "I've gotta agree with Gorgeous, here. The kobs over there didn't have any healing on 'em, and I don't think you'll last much longer if you keep playing the half-elf target - regardless of how attractive a target you are!" Gandel says with a wink and a grin.
The gnome shows off the items gathered from the slaughtered kobolds. "We've got a decent haul of loot here. We should be able to sell it for a healing potion or two back in Haven. Maybe we can find a cleric to come back here with us, too. We may need some holy help if some kobold witch doctor has called up a demon."
I''m assuming 6 crossbows and how many bolts and caltrops?

"Um, right then. Gandel, ye in't too weighed down by all th' stuff ye've got t' carry?" Suny kneels down on one side of Thorn.
"Come on then luv, lets get ye out o' here an' back t' some where ye c'n rest up." She lifts one of Thorn's arms over her shoulder and helps the other 'elf' to her feet.
Though the thin, gum-nut brown Elf's form doesn't seem to be too well suited to carrying the load of another by herself.
"We surely do seem t' be needin' either some potions or other sorts fer when any of us take a dingle." She muses to the others in general.
"Aye, an' sorry I am fer being more built fer swimmin' an' stalkin' than liftin' an' carryin'." V_V

"Aye, Gandel, could ye do th' honors an' scout ahead fer us just a ways back t' the entrance? Come on folks, now's th' time t' hurry. Lets not let th' lil' lizards catch us all tangled up t'gether."
Okeys, how fast c'n the three of us lot hustle back to the entry stairs? Now I do believe time is of th' essence. A good pace should see us there in a few rounds or so, hey? Cheers.

I'm going to assume you're going to go find a healer.
Thorn directs you to the home of the local wise woman, Erisa, whom she knows quite well. When you arrive she says, "Oh, you're hurt, Thorn. I've got something to fix you right up. Normally I charge fifty gold to cast a healing spell, but for you I'll only charge ten. I'll give you potions of healing for fifty."
You've been hearing rumors around town about a party that's supposed to go down at the Inn tonight, apparently the Band of Fire is having a reunion.
You get 500 xp each.

"I got's thirty pieces o' shine fer t'wards helpin' Thorn get better. I do hope Gandel gets some good prices fer them Ko-boily things we picked up." She grins, "Still, There'll be enough fer th' lookin' after o' Thorn that she wunt miss out on the to do at th' Inn tonight." ^_^

Gandel takes his leave of the ladies as they escort Thorn to Erisa's house. "I'll meet you back at the Inn to give you all your share of the profits," he tells the others. "I vote that we buy some healing potions with whatever we get. Speaking of which," he reaches into his belt pouch and takes out a handfull of gold coins, which he hands to Sesinia, "here's 12 gold to throw into the fund for healing Thorn."
Giving the ladies a wink, the gnome shoulders his sack of kobold loot and heads down the street. After thinking for a moment, trying to recall the best place to unload the weapons and armor while getting the best price, he turns and disappears down a side street.

Gandel is able to find a group of adventurers who are willing to buy them for 285 gold pieces, more than you could get from the shops in town, and less than it would take to buy from those same shops.
You guys need a healer. There are two likely choices the Fire Cult, and the Reviran Order of Church Knights. Both of these would have clerics and the Fire Cult also includes oracles of flame. As it so happens the Band of Fire that is having the celebration tonight includes high ranking members of the Fire Cult. So there are many members of the Cult in town. The Reviran Knights have a chapter house in town.

When his companions arrive, he hands each of them a pouch containing 71 gold pieces. “Thorn! It’s good to see you still among the living! I vote we use some of our jink to buy some healing potions. Speaking of healing, what do you ladies think about hiring a cleric to go back with us to the kobs’ lair? Should we go with a Fire Cultist, or one of those Reviran Knights?”
“By the way,” the gnome adds, kicking a the blood-stained bundle under the table, “what should we do with the kob-in-the-sack?”

"It feels good to not be dying. I agree with the idea of bringing a healer along, but if none is available then potions will have to do.....Uhm, Gandel,....why would you keep the corpse of one of those little vermin in a sack? For that matter how dis you carry it around? They're almost as big as you."

I just took the head of that leader-type kobold - you know, the one that told us that their witch doctor was summoning some type of demon? I thought it might fetch a bounty or something." As Gandel hands Sesinia the pouch, she can hear the jingle of gold from within. "We should be able to get some help with what we made, eh?"
Sesinia looks over and sees Gandel kick the blood-stained bag and grins while shaking her head. "Maybe we should go speak to the Castellan to see about any rewards."
Sesinia sits for a minute in contemplation. "I don't know much about either order. Do any of you guys have an opinion about a healer?"

Suny wanders along with one arm around each of Thorn's and Sesinin's waists. Now back in her 'civy' clothes of a simple shirt and 'skirt', she spends the trip back to the Inn looking about at the town again as the other two women do the 'steering' of their path.
She plonks down onto a chair at the table, bare brown legs curling up beneath her, and listens to what the others have to say. She happily takes her bag and bounces and jingles the contents before opening it up and poking her nose inside.
As Sesinina finishes her question, Suny blinks and looks around the table,
"Well, if'n th' lil' bugers are goin' t' be comin' at us in larger numbers an' that with no good way t' scarper back t' town, then aye, some one who's got th' nonce t' patch up people's bits 'd be a right good thing." She wrinkles her nose slightly,
"Um, Gandel? m'by givin' yer bag over t' some one who's maybe goin' t' give back more shine'd be a good thing t' be doin' now rather than later?" She theatrically waves a hand in front of her nose, but winks to show her comments are all in jest. She then stands casually, looking distracted and bored as she aimlessly stretches, then suddenly turns and hugs the Gnome,
"Aye! An' thank'e fer doin' sucha bang up job o' gettin' us this extra shiny, too boot!" She giggles as she thanks Gandel, ruffling his hair and rubbing cheeks before gathering some composure and resetting herself.
"I dun't know this place well enough t' hazard a guess about some one o' th' soothin' arts though." She pouts in thought. "Back home there's folk who know such ways in every village." She lifts her shirt to show off her tanned, flat stomach,
"See here?" She points with a finger, "Tis 's where I done got a bad slice on some coral!" She indicates a pale scare upon her midriff, "Th' healer, 'Bright wind', she done a real naffy job. Her hands were so nice an' gentle too..." Suny's large blue eyes look back into her own past before something else catches her attention,
"Aye, an' would ye look at that?" She muses poking at her shirt, "Here I am down t' just two buttons." She leans over and starts looking around the floor in her immediate area, the ragged linen shirt sliding haphazardly off one bare shoulder.
"Hey! Whut about me idea fer gettin' somat extra fer th' table, hey?" Her mind and attention mercurially switching to a completely different subject yet again.

"Oh, an' I'm still in'a dark as t' whut th' word 'Inquisitor' means. I like learnin' new words." Suny grins,
