Gull Street Annie |

Annie sighs with relief after she calls on Cayden Cailean for aid with the horrible wound the zombie inflicted on her. As everyone examines the room, Annie examines herself to see if she feels any additional effects the zombie's bit may have inflicted on her or any of her injured companions.

Annie sees the crabs explode out of the water to attack Ghirrak, and runs forward.
Is this a swarm? If it's a swarm, Annie will (probably ineffectually) chop at them. If it's not a swarm, Annie will sheathe her weapon and use a dazing touch on the least damaged of them, to daze them for a round.

It's not actually a swarm, you can see four of them climbing on and pinching at Ghirrak. You missed one, your blade skipping off his tough shell.
He is also ten feet away from shore waist deep in the water; do you go to him there?
I said I attacked, so I guess so. If they're not a swarm, Annie made a touch attack to daze one (it's the same bonus, and I'm sure it failed, just letting you know). she'll use her domain ability Agile Step to ignore difficult terrain for the round to get to him.

Sneaky moves near the water to help his mate Ghirrak with the crabs and, hopefully, he tries to attract some attacks on himself.

So I was just about to post and saw yours. I don't really thnk I can do better than that. Sorry for the hold up.

DM-Camris |

As Ghirrak splashes into the shallows and his companions rush in to help, other crabs that had been attacking Ghirrak underwater emerge from the water to attack them as well, and a few extra.

Bryson Deepwinter |

Bryson yells, "COME OUT OF THE WATER! THERE'S PROBABLY HUNDREDS OF THEM IN THERE! THEY WILL JUST KEEP SWARMING YOU!"
Nobody listens to the druid when it comes to animals. Of course that line about hundreds of them may or may not be true, so...

Ghirrak Ironfist |

If Bindlplotz is dropped by the crits (sounds like they got a hold of yer boys), Grirrak will grab the gnome, tossing him out of the water. If he is still standing and Annie is still in the water he will do the same to her first.
Would it require a strength check since they're both easily within his capacity?

Bryson Deepwinter |

If anyone falls, Bryson will wade in, grab them, then wade out.
If any of them make it out and still have crabs attached to them, I'll attack.
Scimitar 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
"Get out of the water!"

DM-Camris |

The crabs on Bindlplotz grapple him, pick him up an start moving him into the water [moving him 5'] there to deal with the delicious gnome in their lair at leasure. The water is up to his waist here.
Bindlplotz has a move and standard action left.
Dgrim pulverizes one crab with an overhand smash.
Annie touches one crab, which then staggers around dazed. She tries tumling away but is off balance. [You can still move through since they are too small to stop you, but if you do they get attacks of opportunity.]
Ghirrak reaches out to grab Bindlplotz as he goes by.
Touch attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
And misses.
Bryson runs in to grab Bindlplotz.
Touch attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
And grabs him. Contest of strength with the crabs to stop them from pulling him underwater vs DC15.
Bryson has another rounds worth of actions too

Spinnaker Jon |

Spinnaker Jon will gesture and shout a word of power, and Bindlplotz finds himself coated with a thick layer of grease. Both the crabs and Bryson find themselves loosing their grips and stumbling back.

Gull Street Annie |

I appreciate it, but I can't decide not to move after the fact because my roll was low. :) My hope was since they're small their CMD might be low enough for me to make it, but I knew it was a risk. The dazed one cannot take actions for 1 round, thus there's at least one less attack.

wait? they grappled Bindlplotz? When I said flee I meant Bindl would flee...just away, any direction...
If I'm grappled I'm prolly gonna die anyway, since they can inflict more dmg each round. Should I work on a new character? LoL.

It sounds like they are either small or tiny - therefore they have no advantage against you in the grapple this round. Also, it appears you are greased. I would fight to get out of the grapple. It's up to you, given your hit points, if you want to risk attacks of opportunity to get away or not. If I healed, I would not only heal you guys, but also heal the crabs, even the unconcious ones.

Gull Street Annie tumbles onto shore, barely touching the top of the water; but the crabs try to grab her on the way past.

Better to die by pincer than by drowning, so Bindl will attempt to break free. 1d20 ⇒ 1

Bindle, you're not grappled, run! You didn't have to try to escape (I don't think, not clear on initiative), so do a full withdraw and get out of the water.

DM-Camris |

Bindlplotz, I probably didn't make it very clear so here is a recap.
*Bindlplotz was hit by multiple crab attacks, and since he's small, the crabs started hauling him back to their lair.
*Ghirrak tried to grab you as you went by, but missed.
*Bryson ran up and did grab you, putting Bindlplotz in a tug of war between the combined crabs and Bryson.
*Spinnaker Jon Greased you.
*Both the crabs and Bryson lost their grips on you as you are spit out like a watermelon seed, leaving you in water three feet deep and ten feet from shore.
It is at this point that you still have a full rounds actions.

Annie, while taking damage, manages to get out of reach of the crabs claws. They chase after her, but they are only half her speed and she is able to stay ahead of them.
Dgrim pulverized another crab and took a step back.
Bindlplotz manages to get to dry land. He skids a bit, seeing that he's still covered in grease, but that is a good thing since he still has crabs trying to grapple him but they keep slipping off.
Bryson withdraws, some crabs chase after him.
Ghirrak punches one, but the hard shell turns the punch aside. His other punch lands a killing blow.

OK, here is a *MAP* of where you're at now.
Wounded crabs are in red.
Now it's the characters turn!

Gull Street Annie |

What kind of condition is everyone in? Who needs healing?
Annie's hurt and bleeding, but it will probably take two more hits before she's down or in danger of going down (7 hp). She can release healing to everyone within 30 feet, excluding two crabs if people are badly injured.

Gull Street Annie |

Next round, Annie will Channel Energy to heal her companions, excluding the two nearest (to her) injured crabs from her healing. If Bindlepotz has stepped back, Annie will also take a 5' step back, keeping herself between him and the crabs.
